*Please note, there will be speculation in this post
Hey people, seems the like the puti devs had some time off here and there over new year, hence why there was no data download last week, which is fine, they more than deserve it.
I personally have fallen behind on a lot of stuff including stuff for this site due to being out of commission with a chest infection for a few weeks. With that being said, I have recovered now and I’m ready to jump into the news for this week although it’s actually quite a small data download
A quick note before we get started. The database and the website are now both on the same host, this was the first in a number of planned changes and updates that you should see soon. If you wouldn’t mind switching over to using the new URL for the database from now on as the old one will soon be shut down.
Jumputi Eng Database: https://ochd.co.uk/db/puti/en/
Jumputi Fra Database: https://ochd.co.uk/db/puti/fr/
I know a lot of the translations are behind and there are still issues with functionality especially on phones but I hope you can appreciate that there is a lot to do and it is being worked on, it might just take a while to get everything working properly.
Thanks to Luffy and Shocking for helping out on the English Database and Miraph and the French guys for handling the whole French Database.
No limited gacha this week, which is great because we had so many in the last few weeks, most people should be completely dry of rubies at this point. Also after getting destroyed by so many SSJ3 Gokus in Tower this week, I’m glad there won’t be a new OP character to bust me up in the coming weeks.
Also if you are wondering, I did get to floor 20 😀
Obviously Frieza, from the last data download, is still ongoing so no surprise to see nothing new here.
As of writing this, the first week of the test season for Vs. Tower is coming to an end to mostly mixed reviews. I’m personally just happy I was able to get my boy Terryman. Don’t worry if you couldn’t get all the copies of Terryman available, they have been quite lenient for this test season and it will actually go on for a whole month!
Each season will run from Mon 15:00 JST until Sun 23:59 JST
We don’t have much info on what will happen after the test season but they have confirmed that there will be the following features added in future seasons:
I know so many people are pumped for this gacha, myself included. There is a lot to break down here so we will get into that but first off can I say I’m so happy to have a new hero gacha to look forward to again, it’s been a while and even if it’s only one new series being added right now, gacha like these are always a treat for me.
Well it’s good to see the Jumputi devs have their fingers on the pulse of the anime community. The Promised Neverland anime premiered this week and so next week is an obvious choice for the release of the adorable protagonist Emma. I’m delighted to see her here, TPN is one of my absolute favourite series right now and easily one of the best in the current Jump line-up.
It’s not really a surprise to see her getting added considering the outright success that TPN is turning out to be and just as the anime is getting started, the manga is entering it’s final arc, I can’t recommend this series enough, read it or watch it, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
Toki is an interesting case. Well, Hokuto no Ken in general has bucked a few of the developers release habits.
Not to say that HnK is not popular, quite the contrary, it’s one of the most popular series in Shonen Jump history but the pattern we had seen last year was that the series teased in the games files were all chosen to get an Ultimate Class event, this was first broken by HnK when there was no sign of the series in the games files but instead files for Black Clover existed. We all assumed BC would be the series to get an Ultimate Class event when it came out but only Mars as a Transcendent arrived, instead Hokuto no Ken appeared out of nowhere, with Raoh as the Ultimate Class event for the month.
Now HnK breaks the trend again by being the first existing series to get a character added from the Survey without getting an event to go with them.
I know a lot of people will be disappointed that Toki is by himself for now but with the sheer size of a series like HnK, I’m sure we will see an event at some point.
Surprisingly Pop will be the main feature of this gacha. You might say that with HnK being the far more popular series and TPN being the far more relevant series that this isn’t the case but we can see that the devs have only got one event planned for this week and it is a DQ event and not for either of the other two series.
It’s always nice to see the rosters for existing series getting bigger and I’m happy to see Pop added, but it does leave me wondering when we might see more niche series getting a bit of love too, especially the ones from the launch pool…
Riku seems like an odd choice to me. I’m always happy to see more Eyeshield 21, a lot of you will know that Murata is easily my favourite mangaka of all time so I’m never disappointed to see more of his work added but even if Riku is Sena’s childhood friend (spoilers I guess?) he’s really not that important to the story, there are so many characters I would have added before him, but I won’t complain about more characters being added from one of my favourite series.
I do like it when this happens, at least two more characters confirmed for HnK. Obviously we don’t know when or what to expect but the survey might indicate who will get the nod in the future.
I did kinda think we might have seen Mamiya at some point, maybe as a login or FP unit but to be honest I don’t think the survey will be the limit of what we see from HnK anyway.
It should be pointed out that we have seen the Haha bros aka Jūmonji Kazuki, Kuroki Kōji and Toganō Shōzō on the website for the game.
Technically these three characters hold the missing IDs for Eyeshield 21 but it should be pointed out that Website IDs and In-Game IDs are not always the same so whether they will be included in those ID slots is still up in the air.
We know there are a lot of empty slots for series in the game but we never really talk about them, but a new one appeared this week so I thought it was worth mentioning that the slots below are still open:
Now there probably isn’t a lot to gather there for most other than Jojo parts 3-6 being planned for the future (not like that wasn’t expected) and Jojo part 7 & 8 not being planned but to be fair part 8 is not eligible being from the wrong magazine and only a part of Steel Ball Run was published in Weekly Shonen Jump so it’s a bit of a gray area.
I do however have a theory that every series after 100 is a series that became popular during the development cycle of the game, and was therefore not worked on until after the game’s release. This would explain why they are all series that became popular in the last year or two:
So I think 103 will definitely be a late 2010s series, I think the most likely candidates are:
It might be a bit early for Jujutsu Kaisen to be considered but the other 4 were all on the survey with Dr. Stone and The Promised Neverland so there is a good chance they could be the mystery series 103.
As for the other survey series, they fit comfortably into the open slots if we say that the later 2010s series will all appear after slot 100. The problem is that might not leave space for Slam Dunk, which I have a strong feeling will make an appearance for the Jumputi 1 Year Anniversary in May. So it’s hard to say how many of these series are going to be coming soon, though I think we will see them all at some point.
No named Catastrophe or Transcendent event is in the files.
Indomitable Fighting Spirit will be the next Ultimate Class Event! The boss Hyunckel from Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken will be available as a drop! He will be Fire (Red)!
Hyunckel is the first of his kind, an Ultimate class event with lower difficulties for those who cannot defeat the defeat the top difficulty. This is a nice touch and I know people will ask but as far as we know there is no costume locked behind the hardest difficulty this time around. It will be interesting to see if Dai will counter him in any way considering he has type advantage over him and I guess Pop will be the same type as Dai?
Sister Krone from TPN can be seen in the files in a folder marked for enemy only characters. Normally this is used for characters who are only intended to appear as enemies on a stage and not to be obtainable.
This would suggest that a TPN event or island of some kind was planned at some point but there are no other files related to the event which may suggest that they decided not to add the event as it might spoil some anime only viewers on stuff that would be happening later in the series.

This is a nice chill week after the end of the New Year festivities. The return of the New Heroes gacha has started the year off strong and even though there won’t be much going on this week, I think it’s most likely the calm before the storm.
As we confirmed last month, Story Events are now going to be happening every month, however, the Dragonball event counted as a special case for New Year and we will actually be getting a second Story Event towards the end of January. I think the details for that event will probably be announced in a stream in the next week or so but we may see a sneak peek from next week’s data download.
The version 3.0.0 icon may have given away that My Hero Academia will be the next Story Event. This isn’t 100% confirmed obviously but I would say there is a very good chance we will be seeing MHA next.
A reminder of the characters from MHA that appeared in the survey. For the Dragonball event we got Android 18 from the survey and for the Yu Yu Hakusho event we got Hiei from the survey. But it should be noted we didn’t get any of the One Piece survey characters during the One Piece story event so we don’t know for sure that we will get any of these characters but personally I’m hoping we can get more than one because I am a big fan of 3/4 of these characters.
For those wondering about other characters we have confirmed that they were/are working on but have not been added, here is a rough list of all the ones we know (please note I’ve included many characters that we have seen the tiniest signs of and I have excluded characters that are already included as enemies) :
There may be a few more that I’m forgetting. Obviously we have no confirmation as to whether or not these characters/costumes are still planned or if they are coming soon even if they are but if you see someone here you like, they have a good chance of making their way in at some point in the future.
The data download was quite small this time around so I included some other information that I sometimes forget to mention, I know it was a lot of text so I don’t really expect everyone to read it all but I hope at least some people enjoyed it.
I have a feeling the next one of these posts will be for the next story event so let’s cross our fingers for our favourite heroes to make it in, I’ll see you all next week ❤
