Next Major Update Preview
On the stream they gave us a small preview of what the next update will look like, there seems to be a proper character log with actual rewards for collecting certain amounts of characters and stuff like that as well as a way to clearly see character information and preview stuff like their animations.
Extra Stuff found in the data mine
When we peek into the files it’s a little difficult sometimes to know what files are added for now and what files are added for later. So now that we have seen everything that was covered by the livestream, we can speculate about what remains!
Mysterious Banner
I have no idea what this is, it’s seems to be saying something about space being dangerous so I try to think of series related to space (if my wonky translations are right), there are quite a few series like that so it’s difficult but yeah this was added with the rest of the anni stuff, could be something coming soon…
Sasuke Returns
The Curse Mark Sasuke event returns, sadly as you all know, the special costumes are only available on initial release so his Dark Lightning costume will not be available from this event. There is also a sign of the Naruto Story Event logo re-added to the files so it is potentially possible that they may be rerunning the whole event.
New Debuffs – Lightning and Burn
We’ve known about Burn for a few weeks but Lightning was also added just recently. There are a few other planned debuffs shown in the files but these recent additions seem to be coming soon as they have animation files attached to them that have their names so we know they are being worked on.
MHA Missing IDs
We got two brand new My Hero Academia characters during this event. It’s weird that My Hero Academia hasn’t had a new unit since shortly after launch when Aizawa was added but they have had 3 costumes and now with the addition of All Might and All For One they gain yet another costume.
Three glaring gaps here, no way to know what they are, I still think an MHA story event is on the cards for the future but as for those 3 slots specifically I would say that Todoroki at least has to be one of them, no idea for the rest. I hope if we do get an MHA story event that it will be based around the tournament arc so we can get tons of the UA students added.
The Next story event?
A very strange image indeed, so let me explain. Normally we don’t find character images in the APK except in very rare circumstances, we normally find character images in the game data. The APK images are normally for all the stuff to do with the GUI and not much else. So this image, that was found in the APK, is obviously a part of the GUI and with the new update we can now see that this image would most likely appear in the distance behind the ship on the main menu to signify a Hunter x Hunter event would be ongoing
Scar’s Notes
And that appears to be it. A massive amount of stuff to work through, this post took me quite a while…I’m looking forward to playing some of these anniversary events, I think a lot of it was not quite what I had expect/hoped for but at least in terms of the goodies they are giving out, it must be said that they are being very generous and have made an event that players at all levels should be able to enjoy. I think that is part of why they were so restrictive about which gacha they put out, but I am still suprised by the lack of sales, I expected 5 or 6 different types of sales to be honest. I think in the coming month we can expect a new heroes gacha and a story event as normal so I don’t know what to hope for next, would be nice to get a Kinnikuman or Reborn event I suppose. Or maybe something new?
I am undecided on whether I should pull a lot on Shanks or maybe on that guaranteed +1 gacha. I hope you all get what you want from the special events and gacha and I hope we can all enjoy anni, I loved year one of Jumputi and it was great to talk about the game with a lot of different people. I really look forward to Year 2, expect more from us in year 2 as well! There should be another data download next week so I will see you then!
