As promised a new story event for May has been announced. This time around, to celebrate Goku Day (5/9) an event celebrating Dragon Ball will be released. The main focus of these events will be The Demon King Piccolo Saga and the Saiyan Saga! A number of events have already been announced with more to come soon!

Daily Missions – Gohan day, Goku day & Goten day
These special missions will be held for one day only each. Clear the specified stage to receive 3x Dragon Radar! Use the Dragon Radar item to summon on the “The Start of an Adventure” gacha.
- Gohan Day – 05/08 – Clear any stage of the Cell Games event
- Goku Day – 05/09 – Clear any Super Class event (skill exp event)
- Goten Day – 05/10 – Clear “Mezase! Become a Full-Time Martial Artist!”

The Terror of the Great Demon King Piccolo

This stage has difficulties from Intermediate up to Ultimate, the higher the difficulty of a stage is, the more Marks the stage will drop. Tambourine will also appear as an enemy in this event but is currently unobtainable.

During the period below, challenge teams in the tower 20 times to clear the special event mission and earn the Legend Summon Jackie Chun!
Furthermore, during the period below, you can earn Tenkaichi Budokai Rosters by clearing battles in the tower. Use this item in the exchange to purchase items including the enhancement materials for the Jackie Chun Legend Summon! The further you progress up the tower, the more Tenkaichi Budokai Rosters will drop!

Hoi Poi Capsule
There are already a lot of items added to the game for this event but this one is the only one we have no context for so far. It’s most likely that it will play a role in the second half of the event.
Four additional characters
In addition to the 4 characters being added to the game for part one of this event, it would seem we have confirmed that there will be 4 more characters added in part 2 of this event. Unfortunately it’s difficult to get good images of them because only some of their files have been added.
These images are obviously from Dokkan Battle but these are the four characters we can expect in part two of the event. A lot to pick apart here, to begin with Kid Gohan and V2 Piccolo will both be in the Side B gacha for the second part of this event. It’s a bit strange to have a version 2 of a 4★ character, and even stranger that this training gear piccolo has been hinted at in the games files and beta images since launch, I think most people assumed he would be a costume swap for our original piccolo (maybe after he finally got his next step evolution). As for Vegeta and Kaioken Goku, it seems pretty obvious that they will be a catastrophe x limited pairing.
Scar’s Notes
For now this is all the news, obviously part two is coming later in the month so I will cover that when it gets announced. I will update this post with any more info or character images we get from the data download on Thursday. It seems like part two of the event will include Version 2 Son Gohan and possibly Version 2 Piccolo (not demon king piccolo but piccolo in his training gear) so maybe these two will be on the Side B gacha. I also think it is likely that we will get Kaioken Goku as a limited unit as well as Saiyan Saga Vegeta as a catastrophe class event.
