Kimetsu no Yaiba Story Event?
Well we got the Weekly Shonen Jump leaks nice and early this week! Not quite what I expected but it seems that a Kimetsu no Yaiba story event is planned to be coming next.
The confirmed new units on this page include:
- Nezuko Kamado
- Zenitsu Agatsuma
- Inosuke Hashibira
- Tengen Uzui
- Daki (Ultimate Class Event)
The characters on this event confirm that this event will be based around a manga only arc and will definitely be spoiling the anime (not that the existing Kimetsu no Yaiba units didn’t already spoil but they came out before the anime started). Based on the Ultimate Class Daki that was teased we can almost guarantee we will see a Limited Dance of the Fire God Tanjirou or a Limited Nezuko & Tanjirou dual unit.
Scar’s Notes
Well… the ensemble event looks like it won’t be happening. The kny event is kind of unexpected but also not at the same time? This is easily the smallest series so far to get a story event and the first series that isn’t a massive blockbuster to get one, in a way this is the first step off the trail we were going down. That being said, kny is massively popular in terms of the manga, so much so that it got an anime super quick and the anime is now flying up in popularity.
Honestly, I am very happy, kny is a series I absolutely love and I MUST have Nezuko. The number of characters does seem kind of small though so I’ll be interested to see how they handle this event and what else we can expect maybe Rengoku or Giyu? I look forward to covering this event more when we get more information but until then, I’ll see you there 😀
