The Shinigami that likes Apples
The boss Ryuk from Death Note will be available from this event! They will be Fire (Red)!
This is a challenge stage! Each stage will present a unique challenge that you must build a team carefully for in order to beat it! Some stages will be particularly tricky, discuss with your fellow players to work out the best way to overcome each challenge.
This is a reprint event, details of the stages may have changed since the last run.
Challenge 1 – Hinomaru Ushio
Survive 5 turns against Hinomaru. He will cut your HP by 90% each turn and he will also Burn you. Hinomaru’s Burn will inflict increasing damage each turn.
Advice – Healing each turn will help keep you alive, but remember, the burn will be much more powerful towards the end of the battle
Challenge 2 – Sanji, Chopper and The Kung-fu Dugongs
This stage has 5 rooms. Each room will have a number of enemies. You must defeat all enemies in each room in one turn or you will be defeated.
Advice – Characters that can attack all enemies at once are key here, some of them have even been buffed recently to make this easier
Challenge 3 – Toriko
Toriko will inflict 100,000 points of damage on the 5th turn. Survive this attack at all costs.
Advice – Supports that provide damage reduction, front line characters with type advantage and front line characters that reduce damage are all advisable for this stage.
Challenge 4 – Katsuragi Yako
Yako will rate down certain bubbles before absorbing every bubble on the board. She will then challenge you to turn your whole board into one color. The color you must change your board to will be in the first line of her speech bubble after she churns your board and in the speech bubble between each turn. Remember what you are looking for:
- 赤 = Red
- 青 = Blue
- 緑 = Green
- 黄 = Yellow
Advice – Search your character box for bubble converters that pair well together, I think the best way to do it is to set your team out with one particular bubble colour in mind then reset until you get the right one
Challenge 5 – Yukihira Soma
Soma will make sure to reduce your Attack, making your attacks do little to no damage. Overcome this and defeat him in 4 turns or face certain defeat.
Advice – Use characters who don’t require a good attack stat to do damage. This includes characters who inflict damage based on their HP stat or their Recovery stat.
Challenge 6 – Son Goku
Goku will convert a number of bubbles into Block bubbles every so often. Each time he uses the Spirit Bomb, he will inflict a great deal more damage for every Block bubble still on the board, survive Both spirit bombs
Advice – Support characters who can change bubbles in set positions to a different color will be great for this, leave the “convert one color to another color” supports at home for this one and focus on setting up your patterns and getting rid of all the block bubbles before BOTH ultimate attacks.

Scar’s Notes
A nice little leak in this data download. What seems to be the first part of the festive events.
I’ll be honest I didn’t expect any more Kochikame content for a while, especially considering the last time it looked like some Kochikame content was coming, we instead got a last minute shaft of a few events but no new characters.
Things to take away from this update:
- These are only the events and gacha starting between the 16th and the 19th, there is most likely more content planned for Xmas week
- Kochikame & Otokojuku both recieve new units for the first time, both rosters had not been added to since launch up until now.
- Togashi Genji has gotten his awakening but Toramaru Ryuuji has not. This is interesting because the Mt. Fuji stage remains unused and raiden has been added as an Enemy only unit, suggesting more Otokojuku content is planned for the future.
- Summer units return in a funny twist, yes it is indeed summer in the southern hemisphere right now, so it seems that their seasonal restiction is a bit more relaxed than initially thought
- The Winter Penguin Village stage still remains unused, Dr. Slump content is sure to come soon
- Other than the Yukata Sasuke returning, no new Limited has been confirmed yet for this event.
- New gacha is labelled as “Just Before” christmas, suggesting that more is planned for christmas
- Still no news on the new “Limit Break” update
Personally, I’m a big fan of this little event, more attention for series that deserve it but haven’t got any is really the best thing for the game
I really have my fingers crossed for a gacha pool update for new year, it would be so huge cosnidering how many gacha units were added in 2019.
