The termination schedule will be as follows:
- From 02/20/24 at 15:00 JST you will no longer be able to download the game
- From 02/20/24 at 15:00 JST you will no longer be able to purchase sales packs
- From 03/27/24 at 15:00 JST service will officially end, you will no longer be able to log in and play the game anymore
- From 04/10/24 at 15:00 JST the company will begin taking refund requests
- From 07/08/24 at 15:00 JST the company will stop taking refund requests
- From 09/30/24 at 15:00 JST all support for Jumputi Heroes will be completely stopped
Almost all sales packs will be removed on 12/20, leaving only the basic packs available until 02/20/24.

A message from me
So, this is the end.
Thank you all for your support over the years.
Even though this game has only been around for 5.5 Years, I’ve been working on the OCHD website for much longer, not just in the lead-up to the game’s release but even earlier than that with with Ore Collection.
Sadly, for months now, I have been working in the background on updates to improve the performance of the database as well as making it easier to use for everyone, so this notice has come at a frustrating time for me, though I don’t think I would have been able to receive this notice well no matter when it arrived.
It was hard to find the time to work on this project whilst still doing my regular job and getting on with my regular life. Ironically, I only had time to work on it recently due to fewer units being released (and therefore less needing to be translated) but we now know why that was.
I will miss the game greatly and I’m so sad that it had to end this way.
Unfortunately, the reason for the game shutting down is nothing as simple as “it wasn’t successful/popular”, “they were running out of ideas” or “they weren’t making enough money” as you would normally see when a gacha game dies.
Jumputi Heroes was still very popular, hell even the End of Service notice got us onto top 10 trending in Japan.
The Shonen Jump vault remains a borderline endless source of content to pull from, more so than any other gacha game has ever had access to.
All indications we have seen from 3rd party sources and from Wonder Planet themselves indicate that Jumputi Heroes is a profitable venture. In fact, Wonder Planet are anticipating a hit to their revenue as a result of shutting this game down.
The sad reality of this shutdown comes down to the fact that Shueisha ended their business agreement with LINE and as a result of this, LINE would no longer be able to provide usage rights for the series in the game to WonderPlanet and so, the service needed to end.
We can only speculate as to why a profitable venture would end in this way.
Many have speculated that Shueisha no longer wished for Jumputi to continue operating because they have plans to release a Shonen Jump gacha of their own through Shueisha Games inc.
Whether this is true or not I cannot say, but I can certainly see how that could be the case.
What now?
Well, I’m not entirely sure to be honest.
Firstly, I will endeavour to make everything I can available before the game shuts down, including assets, videos of ultimate attacks and the like. I had always hoped to integrate this stuff into the database in some way eventually but I was never able to find the time. I will make sure to make it all available one way or another before the end of service.
I want to do my best to preserve as much of this game as I can. I have already made the Music from this game available on our OCHD Archive YouTube Channel. I hope to add the videos there too and for everything else, I am currently considering the best way to make everything available.
For now, the website will stay up, I don’t know what the future holds for it but I am not ready to part with it yet.
For the OCHD YouTube channel, obviously, there will need to be some changes in regards to content but this won’t be the last you see of me, I haven’t worked everything out yet but certainly, you will see more content from me there.
We still upload regularly on the UCHD YouTube Channel. That channel is still in its infancy, I know the content currently available there may not be for everyone but we have a lot of fun recording those videos and you can expect new series from us in 2024 including more anime games and a Pokemon Soul Link among other projects we want to try. So stay tuned and please subscribe if you haven’t already.
If a new Jump mobile game does end up coming out in the near future, I will be there for sure. I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to give that, or any game, the kind of attention I gave to Jumputi but I’ll certainly be there.
Final Thoughts
Jumputi was really something special, the amount of characters and series represented, as well as the care to recreate moments from the series in the author’s original style, it’s just not something any game has ever done before to this degree.
I loved covering this game and from the bottom of my heart, I’m going to miss it a lot.
I learned a lot of new things and met a lot of new people, many of whom I have spoken to almost every day for years now and consider to be good friends. This community has been a good home to me and I’ll do what I can to preserve it as best I can for as long as I can.
