New Feature – Home Create
You can now customize your Home Screen using this new feature!
There are multiple different layout and background options, plus, you can choose which characters you want to display there!
New Feature – Upgrading Scenes
Scenes have had a massive update to their functionality!
Every Scene now has a Rarity attached to it in addition to new ability. The abilities vary from Scene to scene. You can equip up to 10 Scenes at a time and receive the benefits of their abilities.
Scenes can be upgraded using the new materials Blank Panels, Soul Ink and Legendary Pens! These items will allow you to increase the Grade of the Scenes and boost the strength of their abilities!
UR characters now have their own special UR Scenes! These can be acquired by getting the UR character to 5 Star Grade. However, these UR Scenes require a special Upgrade Material related to their series in order increase their Grade.

Next Event & Possible Leaks!
For once, we have a few things worth talking about here so let’s get started!
Firstly, we know this event has a part 2 planned and we already have 2 characters confirmed for it:
Gorou Amamiya from Oshi no Ko
Canadge from ‘Tis Time for “Torture,” Princess
I assume these two will be event units seeing as Miyako was already added as an Oshi no Ko gacha unit. I am not expecting too much more for part 2, I don’t think we’ll get a part 2 Pick Up gacha but we will definitely get a part 2 Festival gacha. So far we have no idea who that is but we’ll find out in a couple of weeks.
Rank Match Exchange
Seems like they will be adding a currency for us to earn from ranked matches that can be used to purchase rewards at some point in the near future.
Not much info on this yet but seeing as the banner and token are both in the files I expect this to be added soon.
Genkai Challenge
A new game mode is on the way! There isn’t much to show right now, but you can actually see the space for it on the bottom right of the home screen so I think we can expect it to be added soon, maybe in part 2?
The name for this mode in the files is “Vertical Dungeon” which makes me think it will be some kind of Tower type game mode.
More passes?
As of right now, other than special event passes like the New Year and Half Anniversary ones, the only pass available is the Premium Pass. There have been other passes in the files pretty much since launch but they were never implemented. However, they have added more files related to these passes, they might just be placeholders but I wouldn’t be surprised if they were implemented in an attempt to earn some more money.
So that’s the Half Anniversary Part 1. What do you guys think?
Personally, I think this is the best event the game has had so far, but then again, it only really had 1 event to compete with which was the Oshi no Ko New Year Festival.
Our first ensemble event. They sort of baited us with the trailer, it seemed to suggest that Canage & Gorou would be part of part 1. All in all we are probably looking at 9 units over a 1 month period which is… not actually all that much if we are being honest. Maybe I still think about the quantity and quality we got from Jumputi events too much. But the feeling of an ensemble event, especially one that adds 3 new series, is really special so I at least have to say, this event feels like the best and most exciting so far.
These events and new features mean everyone will have something to do at least for a little while and who knows, maybe they will surprise us with more content that expected in part 2…
The new features are interesting conceptually at least, the ability to upgrade scenes and having specific UR character scenes is cool, just depends on how annoying these materials will be to obtain.
The opening of the Web Shop introduces at least a few sales packs that are of moderate value so that’s nice. Generally speaking the sales aren’t great as usual but some minor improvements here and there. Overall, the devs are still far too stingy.
I still think the game has numerous glaring issues and my concern with events like this is that they get your hopes up a little but then once the anniversary is over they go back to dropping the same garbage events they were dropping before.
As with the new year event, positive signs being shown, perhaps some real potential, just need the devs to actually make it happen for us. I still think, as it stands, the game is not doing enough to avoid EoS.
Hopefully we will get a roadmap to the 1st Anniversary during part 2 of this event and maybe that will shed some light on the devs plans.
