New Mode – Genkai Challenge
A new game mode with no daily limit! In this mode, each row of panels counts as a floor, use stamina to challenge this mode and, within the time limit, clear as many floors as possible.
Earn series points at random depending on the enemies you face in this game mode. These points can be traded in at the exchange for luxury items.
On normal floors, only 1 character can be summoned at a time. Additionally, characters that are defeated cannot be re-summoned. On Boss Floors however, you can summon multiple characters at once.
Clearing stages earns you Cards, these Cards will give you buffs to use for the rest of the run. There is no Jumble Rush in this game mode, instead, defeating enemies will charge your Jumble Roulette. When you use the Jumble Roulette you will earn more buffs for your team.
There is a rare Golden Phantom that appears from time to time, which may give additional bonuses. The match is over when your timer hits 0 or you run out of useable units.
A luxury reward awaits anyone that can clear 30 floors in one run!

Nothing in the files to indicate upcoming content sadly and still no roadmap to the 1st anniversary either…
I’m happy to see AyaTri added to the game, it’s nice when a series you’ve actually read gets added.
The new gamemode is okay, but linking it to stamina was a bad move. The amount of stamina required to farm everything each event is already too high. If you don’t have the pass then you have to watch a bunch of ads every day just to get the extra stamina which is basically required to clear out these event shops. I really think they need to get rid of the “locking features behind ads” aspect of the game because I won’t be buying the pass anymore and it’s too tough to farm properly without it.
You may have noticed I’ve simplified the news post a bit and didn’t cover the sales packs. Truthfully I just don’t really enjoy the game that much and I feel like the game isn’t doing enough to quickly move in a positive direction. So I want to reduce the amount of time I spend on news posts. They may come a little bit later than normal and be a little less detailed but I’ll still be doing them for now as a small side hobby.
I’ve considered pivoting this website to cover Kotodaman instead as it’s a much more enjoyable and interesting game to me but for now things will remain mostly the same.
