Thank you for playing Jumputi Heroes. Today we will share some responses to player inquires and give you some more information on updates that are currently being worked on.

Regarding improvements to the appearance of summon animations

For a long time, players have been asking us about this and we still receive comments about it on a regular basis so we’d like to give you an update.

The dev team have been taking into consideration a number of elements which could make the summon animations more exciting. For example, panels appearing from a wider range of series or having special effects occur when new characters, special/featured characters or Musou/Densetsu Grade characters are summoned.

However, our current priorities focus on maximizing player enjoyment which means we are spending a lot of time working on new functionality, handling character releases, updates to the exchanges (which we will discuss later) and responding to player inquiries.

Unfortunately, we see this update as a lower priority than these other updates so it won’t be a focus for now. We will continue to work on it and will update you when we have a rough implementation time frame planned for it.

Regarding 10 Step Gacha Tickets

Many players have asked us to implement some way to perform multi summons with the 10 Step tickets. Due to the way these tickets have been implemented, it’s difficult to add on the ability to perform multi summons with them.

We do understand that summoning on the gacha using only single summons can be a long a tedious process so we’re sorry that we don’t have a better answer for you right now. This is a problem we will work towards resolving in the future.

Regarding inventory space problems

We are making adjustments to the maximum cap on inventory space for items such as Jump Souls, Reinforcement Books, Scrolls and Limit Break Doors. We are aiming for these adjustments to be active in game from 03/10.

Regarding the content available from item exchanges

We have received lots of comments regarding the numerous exchanges available in the game and we’d like to discuss some plans we have for them in the future.

Regarding the Soldier’s Soul Exchange (Unity Battle)

Players have been asking for us to add new characters to this exchange. We are considering some new characters to be added here in the future. We may also be adjusting the amount of copies of each character you can purchase from the store, as well as making alterations to the price eg. allowing players to buy up to 99 copies of each character for 1000 Points each.

Event Droplets Exchange

We have received many comments telling us that there aren’t enough good things to spend your Event Droplets on. We are considering changes to the contents of this exchange as we have found players aren’t bothering to farm or spend as many as they did in the past and the store seems to have stagnated.

Vs. Medal Exchange (Tower)

Lots of players have shared their input regarding the availability of Legend Summons. We have decided we will be bringing back Legendary Quests and making them available from the Voyage Log so that everyone can obtain and use their favourite Legends.

For Legend Summons that were not originally obtainable from Feature Festivals, we will be taking into consideration whether we want to keep them in the Vs. Medal Exchange or if we want to make them available via another method.

Additionally, with many Legend Summons being removed from the Vs. Medal Exchange, we will be planning to add new content to replace it, such as Limit Break doors and other items necessary for powering up your characters and performing better in Tower.

The Costume Exchange (Pearls)

While we have received many requests for additional character costumes, we have also received comments from players who do not like changes to the original costume, so we have to consider both sides.

Also, some costumes we might choose to implement do not match up with the Ultimate Attacks that the characters perform so it is difficult to select the right costume for the character.

We are sorry to say that there are no plans to add new costumes to the exchange at this time, but we are considering implementing new ways to use your Pearls.

The Puti Trade Medal Exchange

Please wait just a little bit longer, we will be making some new additions to this exchange for the 5th Anniversary.

Regarding the sudden Limit Break Level Cap increase

We apologize for any confusion caused by our failure to explain the situation with this update ahead of time. Originally, we had planned to incrementally increase the Limit Break Level Cap in stages, with the next update most likely being up to +50. But we wanted to finish our final alterations to Limit Break before the release of the Hidden Potential System during the 5th Anniversary.

Additionally, we noticed many players who were holding on to doors so that they could Limit Break their favourite characters once the Level Cap was increased and these players were reluctant to use the doors on other characters so they would go unused.

We have decided now was the right time to increase the Level Cap. We are greatly increasing the amount of doors that will be distributed so that you can get your favourite characters to +99 right away.

And that’s all the player inquiry responses for this month. We also wanted to talk about some other things players have asked us about such as Battling Friends, Battling Guild Members and adding the ability so sell unwanted items. We apologize but we didn’t have time to prepare responses for these inquiries this month, we will discuss them more at a later date.

Now let’s talk about some updates that will be coming soon.

Account Transfer Update (Due 02/28)

We will be adding the ability to create a Transfer Code to save your account as an alternative to the current LINE account back up system. This update will be rolling on on 02/28 but it will only be available on iOS at the time of release. The update will be made available on Android in the near future.

A new way to handle Limited Grade duplicates (Due 03/10)

We will be implementing Mega Puti Trade Medals which can be earned by selling duplicate Limited Grade units. Each Limited Grade duplicate will be worth 10 medals. Here are the details of the exchange:

Tower 4th Anniversary Memorial Battle

A special 4 Week Tower Ranking Battle! Four separate special battle weeks will be held, your results each week will add to your final total ranking. The players who have the top 3 cumulative rankings after all four weeks are complete will receive a Special Trophy with their username on it!

Let’s look at the special rules for each week:

Week 1

There are no special rules for Week 1.

Ranking Period: 02/27 ~ 03/05

Week 2

Blue and Yellow bubbles will not appear during this week! Additionally, the number of points you can earn for remaining HP at the end of the battle will be doubled!

Normally you earn 1 point per remaining 1% of HP (maximum of 100 Points).

During this week, you will earn 2 points per remaining 1% of HP (maximum of 200 Points)

Ranking Period: 03/06 ~ 03/12

Week 3

Green and Heart bubbles will not appear during this week! Additionally, the number of points you can earn for the number of remaining Block bubbles at the end of the battle will be doubled!

Normally you would earn 100 points if there are no Block bubbles on the board. If there are Block bubbles on the board, you lose 10 points per Block bubble.

During this week, you earn 200 points if there are no Block bubbles on the board. If there are Block bubbles on the board, you lose 20 points per Block bubble.

Ranking Period: 03/13 ~ 03/19

Week 4

Red and Heart bubbles will not appear during this week! Additionally, the number of points you can earn for Overkill damage will be x2.5!

Normally you earn:

• 1 point for every 10,000 damage up to 300,000 Overkill damage (30 points)
• 1 point for every 20,000 damage up to 900,000 Overkill damage (30 points)
• 1 point for every 40,000 damage up to 2,500,000 Overkill damage (40 points)

Adding up to a total of 100 points.

During this week you will earn:

• 1 point for every 4,000 damage up to 300,000 Overkill damage (75 points)
• 1 point for every 8,000 damage up to 900,000 Overkill damage (75 points)
• 1 point for every 16,000 damage up to 2,500,000 Overkill damage (100 points)

Adding up to a total of 250 points.

Updates and Maintenance

Maintenance will be taking place on 02/28 from 10:00 to 13:00. As compensation for the downtime, all players will receive 20 Rubies.

Due to the maintenance, the Ging Freecss gacha and the two Densetsu Sales Packs that released alongside him will be ending earlier than expected (when maintenance starts).

Certain updates will go live after maintenance is complete:

• The Limit Break Cap will be increased from +30 to +99
• Balance adjustments for Super Dimensional Battle!
  • Adjustments will be made to the number of combos required to fill the burst gauge
  • Adjustments will be made to the appearance rate of Block bubbles
• Rare gacha characters will be added
  • It’s unclear from this post whether they mean new “Rares” in the gacha which is what they call the 3★ gacha units or if they are referring to the Rare Gacha which is the premium gacha that gets updated each month or whether they mean something else

Title Cut

Clear the different stages of this event to earn Film! There are 3 different kinds of Film, these can be traded in for Luxury Rewards at the event exchange!

This event has multiple difficulties that can be challenged every day. Each stage drops it’s corresponding Film eg. Stage 1 drops Film 1.

Stage 1 and the Special Class stage will be open when the event launches, Stage 2 opens 02/16 12:00 and Stage 3 opens 02/20 12:00.

The Special Class difficulty can only be cleared once per day but will reward the player with all 3 different kinds of Film.

You can earn lots of Luxury Rewards including Emblems for each of the series.

You can also earn the special Memory items which will be required for the side A girl campaign that will be explained further down in this post.

Certain characters will boost the drop rate of film, be sure to organize a team with these characters included.

Even if they are not in the front line, being anywhere in your team will boost drops. Please note that only the 4 highest boosts in your team will stay active, any additional boosts beyond that will not activate.

The 100 Fest event will be returning for a short time at the end of this month.

The rewards image seems to indicate that they will be giving some Rubies and other rewards for missions during this reprint.

The points event from this celebration will return with a restocked shop and players will have a chance to get the special aura costumes if they missed them before.

Tower 4th Anniversary

02/25 marks the 4th Anniversary of Tower. A special campaign is being held to celebrate (these campaigns normally start a bit earlier).

You can get a special emblem from this campaign.

Additionally, Three new ranks have been added, there is currently no information on how these will be implemented.

Normally we would expect a new Tower unit to be added at this time but there isn’t one in the files yet. The previous unit is set to end 02/13 03:59. It’s possible that another download will be held or we may have some reprints/sales for a while during the Tower 4th anniversary. It is also possible that we may not see a new Tower unit until Super Tower launches during the 5th Anniversary.

Thank you for playing Jumputi Heroes. Today we will share some responses to player inquires and give you some more information on updates that are currently being worked on.

Regarding the handling of character duplicates

This is a continuation from last month’s post. You will be able to obtain an new item called Mega Puti Trade Medals when you sell a Limited Grade Unit. These medals can be traded in at the exchange for Limited Choice Tickets, Guaranteed Limited Tickets, various power up items such as Jewels and Scrolls, and other consumable items.

Mega Puti Trade Medals and their exchange are scheduled to be implemented in the mid-March 2023 update.

The lineups of the Limited Choice Tickets and Guaranteed Limited Tickets from this exchange will be divided by release date and the number of tickets that can be exchanged will be adjusted to make it easier for users to acquire characters they do not yet own.

*The lineup is currently under development and may be subject to change before release.

About Unity Battle play time

We have received feedback from players regarding Unity Battle. Many players feel that it takes too long to gain points in Unity Battles. The bounty poster system currently requires you to clear every level from lvl 1 to lvl 30, but we are considering making adjustments so that players can reach the final level faster.

We are considering omitting the levels in-between, such as jumping straight from lvl 1 to lvl 5 to lvl 10 or lvl 1 to lvl 10 to lvl 20 to lvl 30. We are hoping we will be able to make the game mode less time consuming and more enjoyable.

We are also considering updating the line-up of the Soldier’s Soul Exchange.

Problems with receiving campaign rewards

As discussed in this post, there was an issue with players receiving campaign rewards through LINE. As of 01/24/2023 this issue should be resolved for all players.

Regarding the recent update to Super Dimensional Battle

We have received lots of feedback from players since Super Dimensional Battle returned. We will be improving the game mode in the future based on our observations of how players are playing it. For example we may be adjusting how easy it is to fill the Burst Gauge, adjusting the number of Block bubbles that appear, adjusting the number of times you can play per day, etc.

Regarding the implementation of the Densetsu Grade character Ging Freecss

We have received various comments about this. We are particularly sorry for our failure to provide sufficient advanced notice about this release. We have divided our response into categories according to the type of feedback we have received.

Why couldn’t Ging be added for the 5th Anniversary instead?

The problem is that, if we release Ging for the 5th Anniversary, then when the Taiwan Version reaches their anniversary, we will need to release a new exclusive Densetsu character so there will still be a discrepancy between versions.

Therefore, a choice had to be made between not having Ging in the Japanese version or having him appear in the Japanese version outside of the regular Anniversary and Half Anniversary Densetsu releases.

Also, the content of the 5th anniversary event has already been put together, so it would be difficult to make changes to make space for Ging.

Some people have said, “Why don’t you just have Ging appear on the 5.5 anniversary instead of the 5th anniversary then?” however, as mentioned earlier, because the Taiwan version has 3 releases for top grade units on their calendar each year (Anniversary, Half Anniversary and Lunar New Year) we will always be in a situation where, the Japanese version will be behind in top grade unit releases unless we find a third time and place on our calendar to release these units.

We had to make a choice between not adding the characters from the Taiwan version to the Japanese version, or matching up the pace of character implementation between versions.

We apologize for the lack of coordination we’ve had with the Taiwan version management team. The Japanese version management team had not yet decided on how we would handle this matter, so we were unable to provide clear information on the matter ahead of time.

The Taiwan version of the game treat the Lunar New Year celebration in a similar way to an anniversary. We expect that the Lunar New Year event will be held in a similar way each year on the Taiwan version. We are hoping that, in the future, we can plan an event to be held at the same time on the Japan version.

We will do our best to inform you of such events ahead of time in the future.

Couldn’t you have let us know about this earlier?

Due to the announcement schedule for the Taiwan version, this information was provided to Japanese players after the announcement on the Taiwan version.

We didn’t want to spoil the reveal of Ging for the Taiwan players, however we could have given an announcement to the Japan version that warned of a Densetsu grade unit releasing for Lunar New Year and not revealed the name.

In the future, we will strive to make more frequent announcements for information like this and make such announcements much earlier, especially when we are deviating from the content announced on the road map.

With releases like this coming out, isn’t it clear that there aren’t enough Rubies being distributed?

We are considering the balance for the distribution of rubies, not only for the appearance of new Densetsu grade units, but just in general, we have had a lot of feedback regarding a lack of rubies.

We have also received lots of requests from players to adjust the distribution of Jewels since there are more Limited Grade units coming out and there are lots of characters who can now reach level 15. We are taking this feedback into consideration.

We will also make every effort to avoid sudden “irregularities” in the calendar like this in the future. If a release like this is planned again, a proper advanced announcement should be made and Rubies should be distributed in a proper manner to help players prepare.

That’s all for the feedback this month, but we would like to take this opportunity to update you on the progress of the Hidden Potential System and some changes to our plans for Jewel releases in the future.

Progress on the Hidden Potential System Update

We are continuing preparations for this update to drop on the 5th Anniversary and this month we would like to demonstrate how much stronger you can expect your characters to get after powering them up with the Hidden Potential System.

Our vision for this update was to let players use their favorite characters for a longer period of time by giving them more potential power. For our example today we will be using the character Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece who appeared right at the start of the game’s lifecycle. With this update, his stats can be increased significantly and he can also obtain new abilities.

Unlocking a character’s hidden potential will require a large number of enhancement books, jump souls, new items, etc.

As always, these items will be obtainable from various places including events and exchanges and we will be adjusting how many of these items you can get as time goes on. The intent for this update is for you to strengthen characters over time rather than all at once.

In addition, although there will be differences in the stats and abilities of each character depending on the release date, we are making adjustments so that there won’t be a large difference in the benefit that can be gained for any 2 characters who have had their hidden potential fully maxed out.

With the introduction of the Hidden Potential System, adventures will become easier to clear, so we are considering adding the next difficulty level.

Also, at the time of release for this update, we are operating under the assumption that the abilities and stats gained from the Hidden Potential System will not be active in Tower. But we do plan to observe how people are playing after the update and from there will consider having special seasons of Tower where these boosts may be active.

Specification changes regarding the Jewel exchange

In a previous post, we discussed the idea of potentially allowing players to trade in excess Hero Jewels for Jewels at the exchange. After observing the current situation regarding Jewels, we have decided to put off that idea for now as we believe it doesn’t resolve the current problem with the lack of Jewels and will instead just create a shortage of Hero Jewels.

However, we will be adding more methods of obtaining Jewels in the future such as new events, adjustments to Super Dimensional Battle rewards and more where appropriate. We will be keeping a close eye on the overall Jewel supply and considering the best way to handle improvements moving forward.

• The timer is now locked at 1 bar

Lunar New Year on the Taiwan Server!

Last year for Lunar New Year, the TW server got their first ever Version Exclusive Musou Grade unit when they released Fukki from Hoshin Engi.

This year they seem to have something similar planned! The TW server will be getting their first ever Version Exclusive Densetsu Grade unit!

This time it’s Ging Freecs from Hunter x Hunter! Last year they got additional content along with Fukki so I except there will be some extra to come this year too. The event should start this weekend, more info will be revealed soon.

A suspicious sighting!

Normally when a unit is added to the TW server before the JP server, the first question everyone wants the answer to is When will they be added to the JP server?

Most of the time, the answer is something along the lines of “probably in a few months”, though some characters have been waiting to be imported for years, you can normally expect most of them to release within a few months.

Last year, Fukki released on the JP server a few months after the TW server in the summer. The celebration was for the TW server’s 3rd Anniversary.

Most would expect Ging to be added either for the TW server’s 4th Anniversary or for the Weekly Shonen Jump 55th Anniversary which would come a little while after that.

However, you may have noticed that the data download for this event had way less bait sales and gacha than normal, which is kinda suspicious by itself considering how hard the devs have been pushing them recently.

While those files were absent, there was a file that wasn’t supposed to be there which you can see in the diagram I have made below:

A quick lesson on the event IDs. The IDs that start with a 30 are Transcendent class or equivalent events. The IDs that start with 40 are Ultimate/Catastrophe class or equivalent events. There are other ones used like 16 for daily stages but those aren’t important right now.

Events often have cut-ins attached to them, little manga panels that pop up when you start the event. Not all events have them but if they do have one, it will have a matching ID to the event.

In the case of the diagram above, you can see that there is a cut-in for the event after 40225, but there is no banner for it. We can gather from the ID that it will be an Ultimate/Catastrophe class or equivalent event.

This event, rather suspiciously, has a cut-in of Gon Freecss from Hunter x Hunter (Ging’s son if you weren’t aware).

This doesn’t necessarily mean that Ging will be here soon but I thought it was interesting enough to be worth sharing.

There are also some missing slots for gacha and sales packs but that happens sometimes when they need to remove stuff so it’s hard to say whether it’s any indication of what’s to come or not.

Personally, considering that All Might will be getting his Lvl. 15 Update in February, I wouldn’t be surprised if we got Ging at some point between now and the start of February. But of course it’s just pure speculation.

The developers have shared some update information & responded to some common inquiries about Jumputi Heroes from December 2022.

Thank you for playing Jumputi Heroes. We had previously announced that we would be responding to Player Inquiries on our next livestream, but since there is a long period of time until the next livestream and we have received a lot of feedback recently, we will be responding to inquiries on the official Jumputi blog on a regular basis from this month onwards.

Regarding the handling of character duplicates

We recently implemented the Lvl. 15 update but we are looking into more ways to handle the problem of players ending up with duplicates of characters that provide no additional benefit (due to the character already being Max Skill).

We are currently working on implementing a system whereby the sale of Limited Grade characters can give players special exchange items other than Puti Trade Medals. The rewards that you will be able to trade these items for is still under consideration. The planned store line-up may include items such as gacha tickets, choice tickets, Jewels and certain special summoning items.

Reviving characters who were added early in the game’s lifecycle

Until now, we have been attempting to deal with this matter by regularly giving buffs to characters. However, it has proven difficult to finetune these buffs in a satisfying way. After much consideration, we are planning to add the Hidden Potential System (Panel System) during the 5th anniversary.

This system is planned to allow us to improve the Stats and Skills of Limited Grade and Hero Grade characters who were released early in the game’s lifecycle

Regarding Tower Bonus Weeks

This is something we have been doing since the game first started. We wanted new characters to be incorporated into teams quickly after their release. However, because of this fact, Tower Bonus Weeks have been held one after another in succession and players feel that new characters are a constant requirement to perform well in the Tower. As a result of this, the scope for playing with a variety of characters has narrowed.

We are planning to make adjustments such as increasing the number of standard Tower weeks, increasing the number of Bonus characters whenever a Bonus week is held and removing the points bonus from bonus weeks.

Problems with receiving campaign rewards

*I have had to alter what was said in this section because the devs claim that this problem is now fixed but some players are still affected.

An update was released recently to attempt to fix this problem. For many players it should now be fixed. However, if you are still unable to claim rewards due to either an error message or a message saying “this item has already been claimed” you should be receiving the rewards soon.

If this issue persists, then please follow the steps below to contact the developers.

Before we get started, please note that the Line Inquiry form might not let you choose Jumputi Heroes as an option from the dropdown of Line Games unless you have your device language set to Japanese.

We will also need your Account ID for this procedure so make sure to make a note of it before we get started. You can find your account ID here:

To begin the inquiry, click the bottom left button on the title screen:

Then navigate through the Line inquiry options as shown below:

You will now need to fill out the inquiry form.

In the details section, make sure to include the following information:

• Date and Time you tried to redeem the item
• User ID (copy and paste it into this section too for good measure)
• Item name and quantity
• Campaign Name
• Any additional information you can think of that may prove useful to the support team when trying to answer your inquiry

Your answer should be in Japanese wherever possible. Even if you have to feed your responses into Google Translate or DeepL that would be preferable to responses in other languages.

For the Item name and quantity & Campaign Name you can find that information here with the gift links. It would be best to copy and paste the information from this section if you can.

If you are now able to claim rewards but missed on on rewards during the period the error was appearing, you should be able to use the old gift links from that period, even though they should be expired, as they have been updated to be redeemable until 01/31. You can check the gift links that have been updated posted on the page shown here.

Regarding archives of previous livestreams

We have been periodically taking down the VODS of our old livestreams. This is due to the nature of the contract we hold with the performers that serve as hosts or guests on our livestreams. We are only able to keep these VODs up on our channel for a limited time. We apologize for failing to inform you about this in advance.

Regarding Tower Ranking Emblem Rewards

We recently made changes to the rank distribution of Tower Emblem Rewards, however, we are considering further changes in the future due to players being unhappy with the current system. We will let you know more about these changes at a later date.

Regarding the frequency of Livestreams and Responses to Player Inquiries

We are aware that the inquiries of many players have not yet been answered. We have received many requests for more frequent and more detailed responses to player inquiries.

However, due to the current climate, it is difficult to hold livestream events as frequently as before. We did consider removing or reducing some of the aspects of the livestreams that were proving to be more challenging than in the past, so that we could hold them more frequently, such as having the Producer personally deliver the livestream by himself or with his assistant producer rather than bringing in hosts and guests each time. But we found problems in delivering this solution so we have decided find alternate ways to deal with the issue.

We are still looking into more ways that we can keep in contact with our players and while we try and find a better way to handle these communications, we have decided to begin posting responses to player inquiries on the blog again. These posts will be made on a regular basis.

We aren’t fully satisfied with this solution and we are aware that players feel the same way, however, we want to do what we can for now in order to improve our communication with the players. We will let you know more at a later date when we decide how to handle things moving forward.

Regarding recent changes to the in-game News section

We recently made some changes to the appearance and functionality of the News section.

We have received a number of requests to return this section to the way it was previously. Unfortunately these changes were made due to specification changes across all LINE Games and as such we will not be able to restore things to the way they were before this update.

Moving forward we will be making improvements to the News section and we will try to make everything easier to use and easier to read.

Regarding the rewards available from Exchanges

We have received a number of comments about rewards available from exchanges, especially in regards to items like Jump Souls and Enhancement Books which many players have a surplus of.

We will be adding to the line-up of rewards available from the Puti Trade Medal Exchange and the Duel Medal Exchange when appropriate.

We are also considering making Enhancement Books and Jump souls play a role in powering up your characters in the Hidden Potential System. We will be reviewing where they can be obtained from as well as increasing the upper limit on the number of each item you can hold.

Regarding the implementation of an account transfer system other than LINE

A password-issued transfer function is scheduled to be implemented in late February/early March 2023.

Regarding the difficulty level and rewards for Super Dimensional Battle

We are planning to revamp the Super Dimensional Battle in mid-to-late January 2023.

Additional Information

In addition to the inquiries from our players that we have answered above, we have also received more heated comments about the amount of rubies being distributed and the format/frequency of recent gacha featuring strong units.

We will be addressing this situation in a livestream at a later date.

We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you of some changes to the roadmap. This information was supposed to be relayed to players via a livestream but due to some changes in the current situation we will be sharing it here instead.

Haikyuu!! Feature Festival #2

At the time of the roadmap’s release, this event was scheduled to start in mid-February, but we have decided to change the release date to mid-April.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo Feature Festival #2

There have been some changes to content that was originally planned for this event. We have also decided to delay the release date slightly to mid-January.

As a result of this delay, the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean Feature Festival will be delayed to early-February and the Mizuki Kawashita Sensei Feature will be delayed to mid-February.

We have received many other player inquiries, in addition to working further on the points discussed today, the management team and development team will be reviewing and discussing all the other inquiries and we will share more with you in the future as we work through them.

We are very sorry that we have not yet been able to make all the changes the players have been asking for a long time.
