Thank you for playing Jumputi Heroes. Today we will share some responses to player inquiries and give you some more information on updates that are currently being worked on.

Regarding compensatory measures for duplicate Densetsu & Musou Grade units

Players have asked us to provide some kind of premium compensation for duplicates of Musou and Densetsu Grade units in the same way that we have for Limited Grade units with the Mega Puti Trade Medal Exchange.

We considered allowing players to sell Musou and Densetsu Grade units in exchange for Mega Puti Trade Medals. The idea being that, as they are rarer than Limiteds, they should yield a greater number of medals when sold. Then for a certain price, we could have provided a special Musou or Densetsu Ticket.

However, Musou & Densetsu Grade units are the rarest in the game and we feel that making them too easy to obtain would de-value them too much. We currently have no intention to make it easier to obtain these high rarity units.

For now, we do not think providing Mega Puti Trade Medals in exchange for Musou and Densetsu Grade duplicates would be suitable. We will be considering some other options for duplicate compensation and we will let you know more at a later date.

Regarding the Unity Battle top rewards being too hard to obtain

The special Unity Battle held on May 10th had a reward ceiling of 300,000,000 Points. We received a lot of complaints that this number was far too high and that there should have been rewards given out in between the higher points targets.

Since it was Golden Week and people would have more time to play and enjoy Jumputi Heroes, we wanted to give players a high goal to aim for with a big reward. We were surprised because more people took part than we expected but we still have to consider the overwhelming response of the playerbase which was “The point goal is too high and there should be more rewards in between”. We plan to make adjustments to the point goals for Unity Battle moving forward.

Also, during the event in question, the top reward was a Golden Jewel to celebrate Golden Week. Players feel as if they are missing out if such a valuable item is so difficult to obtain within such a short period, so we need to examine how we handle such rewards in the future. For the players who want to play a lot and aim for a high score, it may be more appropriate to have memento-type rewards such as Emblems to commemorate their efforts.

Regarding Hidden Potential Items

The playerbase has continued to let us know that you want the Hidden Potential Items to be made easier to obtain, especially in the case of Heroic Crystals which have only been available in very limited amounts up until this point.

We are planning to hold a special event from mid-June to help players awaken the Hidden Potential of their characters. We will also be releasing relevant stages to help Hidden Potential better integrate into the Jumputi ecosystem.

Regarding the distribution of rewards for the “Celebrate the Jumputi 5th Anniversary Twitter Campaign” (rooot campaign)

We are very sorry that many players were unable to receive their rewards from this campaign as intended.

We have made an effort to redistribute the rewards to those who missed out, but we have been told that many players still have not received anything and we are responding as needed.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by participating in the campaign.

In addition, due to the specifications of the campaign, it was easy to make mistakes when filling out the information on the website, so we will improve the input method to prevent such mistakes and confusion next time.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but for those who still have not received their rewards, even though the Twitter ID and Game ID entered were correct, please contact us via support so that we can investigate again.

Regarding the unauthorized use of Gift Links

The gift codes for a number of campaigns being held during the last event were obtained before they were intended to be released.

Regarding this matter, we accept that the Gift Links were too easy to obtain before release due to the format of the URL. We will make changes so that this problem will not occur in the future.

Obtaining rewards early like this is a violation of the Terms of Service, and in the future, we will take measures to deter this behavior such as suspending the accounts which take part if neccesary.

In order not to lose the fairness between those who have obtained rewards through fraudulent acts and those who have been playing normally, we have decided that, even though these codes weren’t intended to be disclosed like this, we will share the gift codes below.

Regarding the Taiwan server’s 4th Anniversary

The Taiwan version of Jumputi Heroes will celebrate its 4th Anniversary on June 18th. A celebration event is planned and we are just putting together the final touches of this event.

We can confirm that, as part of this event, the Taiwan server will be getting a new Densetsu Grade unit.

As a result of discussions held between the dev team and the management team, we have decided that both the Japan server and the Taiwan server will get this unit at the same time on June 23rd.

As we announced on the roadmap earlier this year, the Jumputi New World Grand Tour Ver.2 event will be held on the Japan server at the same time as the Taiwan server’s 4th Anniversary celebration. This event will feature a number of units being imported from the Taiwan server and we felt that it made the most sense to release the Densetsu Grade unit as well during this period.

We apologize for this sudden announcement, we have distributed 1000 Rubies for all players to coincide with this announcement so please make sure to collect them.

Golden Jewel

A Golden Jewel, when fed to a character, will bring the Skill Cap of all their skills to Max.

Golden Jewel Shard

You can obtain Golden Jewels from certain special events or you can obtain 4x Golden Jewel Shards and trade them in at the Exchange for 1x Golden Jewel.

Golden Jewels completely unlock a unit’s Max Skill Cap to the maximum that is currently available. Meaning it will have a slightly different effect depending on the character.

If you use it on a character that does not have Level 15 available, you will be wasting the equivalent of 9 whole Jewels as they can only go up to Level 12 (you’ll miss the equivalent of 3 jewels for each Skill).

You shouldn’t use them on characters who have already had some dupes or Jewels fed into them either.

The recommended candidates for these Jewels are Limited Grade units who have their Lvl 15 Skills unlocked or Musou/Densetsu Grade units.

Responding to player inquiries April 2023 Edition

Thank you for playing Jumputi Heroes. Today we will share some responses to player inquiries and give you some more information on updates that are currently being worked on.

Regarding Game Crashes and Long Loading Times

We have been receiving an increasing number of complaints from players saying that their game keeps crashing or taking too long to load.

The development team are currently working to fix the issue. This issue was caused by an increase in the number of concurrent players in addition to new features that have been added recently, such as the hidden potential system, causing an increase in the amount of data being processed at any one time.

We are adding more servers to handle the increase in the size of the player base however the increase in data being processed is a bit more difficult to remedy and will require an investigation into the current processes of the game.

This issue has been moved to the top of our priority list and we will do our best to fix it as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and ask for your patience in this matter.

Regarding Bonus Weeks in Tower and the current playing environment

Regarding character bonuses for Tower, in the past, we had been running them every week so that characters added during the ongoing event would get a chance to be used in Tower. However, due to the small number of characters eligible for bonuses in each event as well as a number of scheduling conflicts, the bonuses were sometimes held consecutively week after week.

We are looking into ways we can rebalance character bonuses, we want to feature more regular tower weeks and find ways to allow players to team-build without too much restriction.

Regarding the current playing environment of the Tower, we are aware that many matches are now being settled in the Third or sometimes even the Second turn. This happened in the past too but we have noticed that this is becoming increasingly more common.

We are considering implementing characters in the future that may help to fix this issue, however, we recognize that this is not a fundamental solution. We are looking into the possibility of adding HP increases, field effects, and special rules, not only for balancing reasons but also to allow everyone to enjoy a wide range of team builds.

Regarding Hidden Potential Items

Players have been vocal with us regarding this update, the most common comments that we see are that you want the Hidden Potential Items stages to be permanent and that you want us to address the massive stamina cost required to obtain all the items needed.

We are considering increasing the number of ways to obtain these items, such as making their stage permanent, increasing the amount dropped from the stage, or making the items available elsewhere, such as from Feature Festival rewards.

Regarding High-Difficulty Content

As the characters released in each event have been getting stronger over time and we have been releasing new features that allow older characters to get stronger, such as Hidden Potential and the Level 15 update, we have been considering the need for more challenging adventures beyond Catastrophe Class difficulty.

However, the fact is that less than 10% of the entire Player Base is able to consistently defeat the Catastrophe Class difficulty stages that we have been releasing each event and we believe that adjustments need to be made to Catastrophe Class difficulty before we release a new difficulty level.

So, while we will be making those adjustments, we also considering adding stages that will allow hardcore players to test their abilities, and we plan to implement stages with difficulty levels higher than Catastrophe Class around June.

We will work to restructure difficulty levels so that these higher difficulty stages can be added more frequently as part of regularly scheduled content in the future, but for now, please look forward to the stages that we will be adding around June.

Regarding Legend Summon Books and the Voyage log

When you are Levelling up a Legend Summon and click on the Books to see where they can be obtained, it is supposed to give you the option of the stages in the Voyage Log, if they are available, however at the moment, it doesn’t work as we intended. We are working to correct this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Regarding Limited Grade Character Auras

We have received many requests for auras to be changed on various Limited Grade characters. We would like to take the time to consider this and discuss it with the relevant members of our team. We will let you know more in a future post.

Thank you for playing Jumputi Heroes. Today we will share some responses to player inquires and give you some more information on updates that are currently being worked on.

There is currently a known issue that causes the game to crash as well as a number of other instability issues. Fixes to these problems have been made and are pending approval for a new version release on the App Store. We apologize for the inconvenience, we are hoping the update will be available for download soon.

First we would like to discuss the Jumputi Survey held at the start of this month. Thank you all for your input. We will be covering some of the information collected from the survey today alongside our regular coverage on player input and work towards future updates.

Regarding the frequency of Limited releases and the Lvl.15 Update

Regarding the Lvl.15 Update, we have received many comments about the lack of Jewels. We have decided to adjust the distribution of Jewels, you should see an increase in the amount available from events and campaigns in the future so it will be easier to strengthen your characters.

Also, many people have complained about the lack of Rubies being distributed, especially when compared to the frequency of Limited Grade unit releases. We will adjust the distribution of Rubies in the future while trying to keep it balanced.

The current balance is set up in such a way that players can obtain Rubies by playing through Feature Festivals (from missions, login bonuses, campaigns, etc.). In reality, according to the actual player data, only a small percentage of players are actively obtaining all the Rubies we make available.

We intend to review our approach towards announcements so that players know how many Rubies will be available and what they need to do in order to get them

Regarding Catastrophe Class Events & Sparks of a Lost Civilization

We’ve received lots of feedback regarding the difficulty of Catastrophe Class Events. Some players have complained about these stages being too difficult, however we are hoping the Hidden Potential update will help these players.

Many players expressed that they felt a great sense of accomplishment when clearing difficult stages like this. We think that, moving forward, we will make sure to still include Catastrophe Class Events and other similar events for our Hardcore players, but we will also provide the “Challenging Event” type stages as a lower difficulty option.

Regarding Sparks of a Lost Civilization, many players expressed issues with this game mode, such as; “The stages are too difficult”, “Team building for it is too restrictive” and “The game mode feels like a chore each month”.

We are considering what changes we can make to address these issues, such as lowering the difficulty level or reworking the entire event structure.

Regarding Super Dimensional Battle & Tower

Since it was recently revamped, players had lots to say about Super Dimensional Battle. We received requests to extend the timer, make it easier to create Skill bubbles and bring back the Friend Bonus. We are making adjustments as needed and attempting to make the mode more enjoyable. An update to this mode is planned for some time in May.

As for the Tower, one of the requests we saw a lot of, was players wanting the ability to battle against their friends. However, due to system limitations, this is proving to be quite challenging to implement. We are trying to see if there is a different approach we can take to implementing something like this. We will talk a bit more about this further down the post.

Regarding what content players find interesting

The survey results showed that powering up characters, character collection, and the gacha were the main areas of interest.

Following that, content such as Tower, Unity Battle, Super Dimensional Battle, and High-Difficulty adventures were also popular.

On the other hand, there were many complaints about not being able to obtain desired characters easily and not having enough Rubies or Jewels.

Therefore, in order to address these issues, we will be reviewing the overall supply balance of Rubies and Jewels and we will make efforts to announce where to obtain them more clearly in the future.

Responses to other Opinions, Requests, and Inquiries

Regarding the implementation of a Friend Battle function

Many players have expressed a desire to Tower Battle against their friends in real time. An update like that will be very difficult to implement as part of the Tower within the current system. We are currently exploring alternative ways to implement something similar instead.

Speaking of Tower, generally speaking, it seems that many players enjoy this game mode. A considerable number of players have told us that they want more ways to enjoy it. Therefore, we are considering implementing some kind of new feature to be released for the Tower 4.5 Anniversary later this year.

Regarding improvements to the sorting function

We have received many requests for various improvements to the Sorting function. Some of these improvements have already been implemented. Where possible, we will continue to work towards implementing the other improvements to Sorting that players have requested.

In particular, the community have been asking us for a long time to implement the ability to Sort and Filter Legend Summons and we are currently preparing to implement this update as soon as possible.

We are also considering adding a search bar for filters, however, it is proving difficult to plan out an update like this as it will be fairly resource-intensive. We will let you know more at a later date

Regarding 10 Step Tickets

Players have been asking for the ability to use multiple of these tickets at once like they can on other gacha. The implementation of these tickets is quite different to other gacha so this is proving problematic to address.

The solution we have settled on, is to implement an exchange where you can trade 10 of these tickets for a new kind of multi ticket.

We are aiming to implement this around June, so please wait a little longer.

Regarding Choice Tickets

Being able to see which characters you already own when using a Choice Ticket is a request that has become more and more frequent as more and more characters have been added to the game.

While this update is certainly possible for us to implement on paper, in practice, due to the number of characters and the processing constraints of user data, this could cause system slowdown and crashes. Therefore, making this change is a bit difficult right now.

A fundamental system overhaul is required, which will take a significant amount of time, making this a difficult update for us to talk about right now. We will let you know more in the future.

Regarding x4 Speed outside of Tower

While we do understand that players would like to see a 4x Speed function for adventures, similar to what is available in Tower, unfortunately, we feel that implementing such a change is would cause problems that are difficult for us to address.

Tower and regular adventures are fundamentally different in the way they are intended to be played, implementing a 4x speed function for adventures would result in significant imbalances.

Regarding Special Animations for Gacha

We have considered implementing special animations such as a “Guaranteed Limited” animation for the gacha. However, it will require a complete review and reconstruction of the current animations and UI, which will take a considerable amount of time to implement.

We would like to make it happen, but we are focusing on improving and enhancing the content and functionality of the game first.

Regarding reviving characters who were added early in the game’s lifecycle

We will continue to use the Lvl. 15 Update, Hidden Potential System and other special upgrades to work towards addressing this issue.

Regarding duplicates of Hero Grade units

We have been asked to provide some measure to deal with Hero Grade character duplicates. For now, we are starting by adding more items to the Puti Trade Medal Exchange, such as more Guaranteed ★5 Gacha Tickets.

However, we recognize that players are ending up with a significant amount of duplicates. Features used to address the duplicates problem with Limited Grade units, such as increasing the maximum skill level cap or implementing the Mega Puti Trade Medal exchange, won’t be as effective with Hero Grade Duplicates as players are getting so many of them compared to Limited Grade duplicates.

We will continue to consider various solutions to address this problem and let you know more at a later date.

Regarding issues with the Vs. Medal Exchange

We are looking to address some of the issues with this exchange. Firstly, the layout issues. Currently, there are too many items we need to display in there. One way we are looking to deal with this is to migrate many of the Legend Summons, and their books, out of the exchange and into the Voyage Log.

We would also like to allow players to purchase as many as they want/need of each item at once rather than restricting them to one item/set at a time. Implementing this feature will require a significant amount of time, as such, we are considering a temporary solution where certain items can be bundled together.

Regarding archives of previous livestreams

Unfortunately, the situation is still the same as before. Due to the contracts with our performers, the VODs of these livestreams need to be taken down after a certain period of time.

New Feature – Hidden Potential

A new feature has been added to the game to make units stronger! Use the Panel System to awaken your character’s Hidden Potential! This will increase their stats significantly and give them additional buffs and abilities (outside of Tower).

To get started, the first thing you’ll need to is choose a character. For now, there’s only a small selection of units that have access to their Hidden Potential, you can see that selection above.

More units will receive access to their Hidden Potential in the future. Once you have chosen your unit, you will need to make sure:

• to evolve them to 6★ rarity
• to get them up to Level 99
• to get them up to at least +10 Limit Break (you will need at least +30 to Max out their Hidden potential)

You can access the Hidden Potential section of the menus by following the steps below:

If your unit is ready, step one is the Heroic Crystal.

Some special characters like this Goku require a character specific version of the Heroic Crystal however most characters will use the regular ones shown in the left image.

Limited Grade units require 5 Crystals, Hero Grade units require 3 and Event Grade units require 1.

Once you use the crystal on a character, you will have access to their Panel System which will allow you to start working towards unlocking their Hidden Potential!

The Panel System is split into 4 rooms as you can see below:

You’ll need to complete the rooms in order starting from Left to Right.

Each of the panels represents a buff for your character. Most of these are stat buffs but the final panel in the first and third rooms will give a buff to the character’s skills.

In this case, for completing The Room of Knowledge, Goku gets an additional ability for his Ultimate Attack.

You don’t need to complete each panel 1 by 1, you can try and do all the panels in a room at once by clicking the button in the bottom right.

As mentioned before, you can start the process at +10 Limit Break, however, you will be locked in the first room until you reach +20 and then in the second room until you reach +30. As such, I have been prevented from completing the final panel and moving in to the next room because my Goku is only +10.

As you can see, you’ll need a large amount of materials to complete the panels in each room. Some of them you may recognize and some new ones you may be unfamiliar with.

Each of the first 4 slabs are associated with one of the rooms and all characters will need them to get through each room.

As you might expect, Goku is a Yellow character so we need Yellow Slabs for some of his panels but we wont need any of the other colors.

So for the Max Luck Medal, new to Ver 8.0.0, this item will be given each time you get a character to Max Luck. This item is required for the final room. To be clear, the final room is purely a visual change, you will not receive any additional buffs for completing it, all that will change is your character’s icon.

In this case we are using Red -> Green and Green <-> Yellow as an example.

For the Red -> Green One Way Multi Chain Buff:

If you chain Red bubbles with this buff active, Green bubbles will be included as part of the chain. This means:

• If you start a chain by clicking on a Red bubble, any Green bubbles that are touching Red bubbles in your chain will also be included as part of the chain.
  • Any Red bubbles that are touching the Green bubbles but are not part of the original chain will not be included.
• If you start a chain by clicking on a Green bubble, only Green bubbles will be chained.

For the Yellow <-> Green Two Way Multi Chain Buff:

If you chain Green bubbles with this buff active, Yellow bubbles will be included as part of the chain and vice-versa. This means:

• If you start a chain by clicking on a Green bubble, any Yellow bubbles that are touching Green bubbles in your chain will also be included as part of the chain.

On the left we can see Kisuke’s Yellow <-> Green Two Way Multi Chain in action and on the right we can see Inner Hollow’s Red -> Green One Way Multi Chain.

As you can see, Kisuke’s bubbles will connect Yellow to Green and vice-versa over and over across the board. For Inner Hollow, the Red bubbles connect to the Green bubbles, but those Green bubbles cannot connect to that next row of Red bubbles.
