Thank you for playing Jumputi Heroes. Today we will share some responses to player inquires and give you some more information on updates that are currently being worked on.

Regarding the handling of character duplicates

This is a continuation from last month’s post. You will be able to obtain an new item called Mega Puti Trade Medals when you sell a Limited Grade Unit. These medals can be traded in at the exchange for Limited Choice Tickets, Guaranteed Limited Tickets, various power up items such as Jewels and Scrolls, and other consumable items.

Mega Puti Trade Medals and their exchange are scheduled to be implemented in the mid-March 2023 update.

The lineups of the Limited Choice Tickets and Guaranteed Limited Tickets from this exchange will be divided by release date and the number of tickets that can be exchanged will be adjusted to make it easier for users to acquire characters they do not yet own.

*The lineup is currently under development and may be subject to change before release.

About Unity Battle play time

We have received feedback from players regarding Unity Battle. Many players feel that it takes too long to gain points in Unity Battles. The bounty poster system currently requires you to clear every level from lvl 1 to lvl 30, but we are considering making adjustments so that players can reach the final level faster.

We are considering omitting the levels in-between, such as jumping straight from lvl 1 to lvl 5 to lvl 10 or lvl 1 to lvl 10 to lvl 20 to lvl 30. We are hoping we will be able to make the game mode less time consuming and more enjoyable.

We are also considering updating the line-up of the Soldier’s Soul Exchange.

Problems with receiving campaign rewards

As discussed in this post, there was an issue with players receiving campaign rewards through LINE. As of 01/24/2023 this issue should be resolved for all players.

Regarding the recent update to Super Dimensional Battle

We have received lots of feedback from players since Super Dimensional Battle returned. We will be improving the game mode in the future based on our observations of how players are playing it. For example we may be adjusting how easy it is to fill the Burst Gauge, adjusting the number of Block bubbles that appear, adjusting the number of times you can play per day, etc.

Regarding the implementation of the Densetsu Grade character Ging Freecss

We have received various comments about this. We are particularly sorry for our failure to provide sufficient advanced notice about this release. We have divided our response into categories according to the type of feedback we have received.

Why couldn’t Ging be added for the 5th Anniversary instead?

The problem is that, if we release Ging for the 5th Anniversary, then when the Taiwan Version reaches their anniversary, we will need to release a new exclusive Densetsu character so there will still be a discrepancy between versions.

Therefore, a choice had to be made between not having Ging in the Japanese version or having him appear in the Japanese version outside of the regular Anniversary and Half Anniversary Densetsu releases.

Also, the content of the 5th anniversary event has already been put together, so it would be difficult to make changes to make space for Ging.

Some people have said, “Why don’t you just have Ging appear on the 5.5 anniversary instead of the 5th anniversary then?” however, as mentioned earlier, because the Taiwan version has 3 releases for top grade units on their calendar each year (Anniversary, Half Anniversary and Lunar New Year) we will always be in a situation where, the Japanese version will be behind in top grade unit releases unless we find a third time and place on our calendar to release these units.

We had to make a choice between not adding the characters from the Taiwan version to the Japanese version, or matching up the pace of character implementation between versions.

We apologize for the lack of coordination we’ve had with the Taiwan version management team. The Japanese version management team had not yet decided on how we would handle this matter, so we were unable to provide clear information on the matter ahead of time.

The Taiwan version of the game treat the Lunar New Year celebration in a similar way to an anniversary. We expect that the Lunar New Year event will be held in a similar way each year on the Taiwan version. We are hoping that, in the future, we can plan an event to be held at the same time on the Japan version.

We will do our best to inform you of such events ahead of time in the future.

Couldn’t you have let us know about this earlier?

Due to the announcement schedule for the Taiwan version, this information was provided to Japanese players after the announcement on the Taiwan version.

We didn’t want to spoil the reveal of Ging for the Taiwan players, however we could have given an announcement to the Japan version that warned of a Densetsu grade unit releasing for Lunar New Year and not revealed the name.

In the future, we will strive to make more frequent announcements for information like this and make such announcements much earlier, especially when we are deviating from the content announced on the road map.

With releases like this coming out, isn’t it clear that there aren’t enough Rubies being distributed?

We are considering the balance for the distribution of rubies, not only for the appearance of new Densetsu grade units, but just in general, we have had a lot of feedback regarding a lack of rubies.

We have also received lots of requests from players to adjust the distribution of Jewels since there are more Limited Grade units coming out and there are lots of characters who can now reach level 15. We are taking this feedback into consideration.

We will also make every effort to avoid sudden “irregularities” in the calendar like this in the future. If a release like this is planned again, a proper advanced announcement should be made and Rubies should be distributed in a proper manner to help players prepare.

That’s all for the feedback this month, but we would like to take this opportunity to update you on the progress of the Hidden Potential System and some changes to our plans for Jewel releases in the future.

Progress on the Hidden Potential System Update

We are continuing preparations for this update to drop on the 5th Anniversary and this month we would like to demonstrate how much stronger you can expect your characters to get after powering them up with the Hidden Potential System.

Our vision for this update was to let players use their favorite characters for a longer period of time by giving them more potential power. For our example today we will be using the character Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece who appeared right at the start of the game’s lifecycle. With this update, his stats can be increased significantly and he can also obtain new abilities.

Unlocking a character’s hidden potential will require a large number of enhancement books, jump souls, new items, etc.

As always, these items will be obtainable from various places including events and exchanges and we will be adjusting how many of these items you can get as time goes on. The intent for this update is for you to strengthen characters over time rather than all at once.

In addition, although there will be differences in the stats and abilities of each character depending on the release date, we are making adjustments so that there won’t be a large difference in the benefit that can be gained for any 2 characters who have had their hidden potential fully maxed out.

With the introduction of the Hidden Potential System, adventures will become easier to clear, so we are considering adding the next difficulty level.

Also, at the time of release for this update, we are operating under the assumption that the abilities and stats gained from the Hidden Potential System will not be active in Tower. But we do plan to observe how people are playing after the update and from there will consider having special seasons of Tower where these boosts may be active.

We will proceed with our work on this update and we will try not to stray too far from the information we have been reporting to you, but please note that there may be slight tweaks or unavoidable changes due to unforeseen circumstances.

Specification changes regarding the Jewel exchange

In a previous post, we discussed the idea of potentially allowing players to trade in excess Hero Jewels for Jewels at the exchange. After observing the current situation regarding Jewels, we have decided to put off that idea for now as we believe it doesn’t resolve the current problem with the lack of Jewels and will instead just create a shortage of Hero Jewels.

However, we will be adding more methods of obtaining Jewels in the future such as new events, adjustments to Super Dimensional Battle rewards and more where appropriate. We will be keeping a close eye on the overall Jewel supply and considering the best way to handle improvements moving forward.

Super Dimensional Battle Returns!

Super Dimensional Battle is back with a few changes!

• New Item Jewel Essence has been added
• There are now 2 evaluations that grant rewards each day
  • The Number of Skill Bubbles Popped (This decides your Grade for the run)
  • The amount of damage inflicted
• Additional ++Grades have been added and the criteria for reaching each Grade has changed
• The timer is now locked at 1 bar
• Bonuses provided by players on your friends list have been removed
• The bubble rate has been adjusted to reflect Bonuses being removed

In this update, a new item has been introduced. This item is called Jewel Essence.

The Jewel Shard exchange has been updated to include an option for this item.

10x Jewel Essence can be traded in for 1x Jewel Fragment. You can earn up to 15x Jewel Essence per day from Super Dimensional Battle depending on your Grade.

Lunar New Year on the Taiwan Server!

Last year for Lunar New Year, the TW server got their first ever Version Exclusive Musou Grade unit when they released Fukki from Hoshin Engi.

This year they seem to have something similar planned! The TW server will be getting their first ever Version Exclusive Densetsu Grade unit!

This time it’s Ging Freecs from Hunter x Hunter! Last year they got additional content along with Fukki so I except there will be some extra to come this year too. The event should start this weekend, more info will be revealed soon.

A suspicious sighting!

Normally when a unit is added to the TW server before the JP server, the first question everyone wants the answer to is When will they be added to the JP server?

Most of the time, the answer is something along the lines of “probably in a few months”, though some characters have been waiting to be imported for years, you can normally expect most of them to release within a few months.

Last year, Fukki released on the JP server a few months after the TW server in the summer. The celebration was for the TW server’s 3rd Anniversary.

Most would expect Ging to be added either for the TW server’s 4th Anniversary or for the Weekly Shonen Jump 55th Anniversary which would come a little while after that.

However, you may have noticed that the data download for this event had way less bait sales and gacha than normal, which is kinda suspicious by itself considering how hard the devs have been pushing them recently.

While those files were absent, there was a file that wasn’t supposed to be there which you can see in the diagram I have made below:

A quick lesson on the event IDs. The IDs that start with a 30 are Transcendent class or equivalent events. The IDs that start with 40 are Ultimate/Catastrophe class or equivalent events. There are other ones used like 16 for daily stages but those aren’t important right now.

Events often have cut-ins attached to them, little manga panels that pop up when you start the event. Not all events have them but if they do have one, it will have a matching ID to the event.

In the case of the diagram above, you can see that there is a cut-in for the event after 40225, but there is no banner for it. We can gather from the ID that it will be an Ultimate/Catastrophe class or equivalent event.

This event, rather suspiciously, has a cut-in of Gon Freecss from Hunter x Hunter (Ging’s son if you weren’t aware).

This doesn’t necessarily mean that Ging will be here soon but I thought it was interesting enough to be worth sharing.

There are also some missing slots for gacha and sales packs but that happens sometimes when they need to remove stuff so it’s hard to say whether it’s any indication of what’s to come or not.

Personally, considering that All Might will be getting his Lvl. 15 Update in February, I wouldn’t be surprised if we got Ging at some point between now and the start of February. But of course it’s just pure speculation.

The developers have shared some update information & responded to some common inquiries about Jumputi Heroes from December 2022.

Thank you for playing Jumputi Heroes. We had previously announced that we would be responding to Player Inquiries on our next livestream, but since there is a long period of time until the next livestream and we have received a lot of feedback recently, we will be responding to inquiries on the official Jumputi blog on a regular basis from this month onwards.

Regarding the handling of character duplicates

We recently implemented the Lvl. 15 update but we are looking into more ways to handle the problem of players ending up with duplicates of characters that provide no additional benefit (due to the character already being Max Skill).

We are currently working on implementing a system whereby the sale of Limited Grade characters can give players special exchange items other than Puti Trade Medals. The rewards that you will be able to trade these items for is still under consideration. The planned store line-up may include items such as gacha tickets, choice tickets, Jewels and certain special summoning items.

Reviving characters who were added early in the game’s lifecycle

Until now, we have been attempting to deal with this matter by regularly giving buffs to characters. However, it has proven difficult to finetune these buffs in a satisfying way. After much consideration, we are planning to add the Hidden Potential System (Panel System) during the 5th anniversary.

This system is planned to allow us to improve the Stats and Skills of Limited Grade and Hero Grade characters who were released early in the game’s lifecycle

Regarding Tower Bonus Weeks

This is something we have been doing since the game first started. We wanted new characters to be incorporated into teams quickly after their release. However, because of this fact, Tower Bonus Weeks have been held one after another in succession and players feel that new characters are a constant requirement to perform well in the Tower. As a result of this, the scope for playing with a variety of characters has narrowed.

We are planning to make adjustments such as increasing the number of standard Tower weeks, increasing the number of Bonus characters whenever a Bonus week is held and removing the points bonus from bonus weeks.

Problems with receiving campaign rewards

*I have had to alter what was said in this section because the devs claim that this problem is now fixed but some players are still affected.

An update was released recently to attempt to fix this problem. For many players it should now be fixed. However, if you are still unable to claim rewards due to either an error message or a message saying “this item has already been claimed” you should be receiving the rewards soon.

If this issue persists, then please follow the steps below to contact the developers.

Before we get started, please note that the Line Inquiry form might not let you choose Jumputi Heroes as an option from the dropdown of Line Games unless you have your device language set to Japanese.

We will also need your Account ID for this procedure so make sure to make a note of it before we get started. You can find your account ID here:

In the details section, make sure to include the following information:

• Date and Time you tried to redeem the item
• User ID (copy and paste it into this section too for good measure)

• Campaign Name
• Any additional information you can think of that may prove useful to the support team when trying to answer your inquiry

Your answer should be in Japanese wherever possible. Even if you have to feed your responses into Google Translate or DeepL that would be preferable to responses in other languages.

If you are now able to claim rewards but missed on on rewards during the period the error was appearing, you should be able to use the old gift links from that period, even though they should be expired, as they have been updated to be redeemable until 01/31. Regarding archives of previous livestreams

We have been periodically taking down the VODS of our old livestreams. This is due to the nature of the contract we hold with the performers that serve as hosts or guests on our livestreams. We are only able to keep these VODs up on our channel for a limited time. We apologize for failing to inform you about this in advance.

Regarding Tower Ranking Emblem Rewards

We recently made changes to the rank distribution of Tower Emblem Rewards, however, we are considering further changes in the future due to players being unhappy with the current system. We will let you know more about these changes at a later date.

Regarding the frequency of Livestreams and Responses to Player Inquiries

We are aware that the inquiries of many players have not yet been answered. We have received many requests for more frequent and more detailed responses to player inquiries.

However, due to the current climate, it is difficult to hold livestream events as frequently as before. We did consider removing or reducing some of the aspects of the livestreams that were proving to be more challenging than in the past, so that we could hold them more frequently, such as having the Producer personally deliver the livestream by himself or with his assistant producer rather than bringing in hosts and guests each time. But we found problems in delivering this solution so we have decided find alternate ways to deal with the issue.

We are still looking into more ways that we can keep in contact with our players and while we try and find a better way to handle these communications, we have decided to begin posting responses to player inquiries on the blog again. These posts will be made on a regular basis.

We aren’t fully satisfied with this solution and we are aware that players feel the same way, however, we want to do what we can for now in order to improve our communication with the players. We will let you know more at a later date when we decide how to handle things moving forward.

Regarding recent changes to the in-game News section

We recently made some changes to the appearance and functionality of the News section.

We have received a number of requests to return this section to the way it was previously. Unfortunately these changes were made due to specification changes across all LINE Games and as such we will not be able to restore things to the way they were before this update.

Moving forward we will be making improvements to the News section and we will try to make everything easier to use and easier to read.

Regarding the rewards available from Exchanges

We have received a number of comments about rewards available from exchanges, especially in regards to items like Jump Souls and Enhancement Books which many players have a surplus of.

We will be adding to the line-up of rewards available from the Puti Trade Medal Exchange and the Duel Medal Exchange when appropriate.

We are also considering making Enhancement Books and Jump souls play a role in powering up your characters in the Hidden Potential System. We will be reviewing where they can be obtained from as well as increasing the upper limit on the number of each item you can hold.

Regarding the implementation of an account transfer system other than LINE

A password-issued transfer function is scheduled to be implemented in late February/early March 2023.

Regarding the difficulty level and rewards for Super Dimensional Battle

We are planning to revamp the Super Dimensional Battle in mid-to-late January 2023.

Additional Information

In addition to the inquiries from our players that we have answered above, we have also received more heated comments about the amount of rubies being distributed and the format/frequency of recent gacha featuring strong units.

We will be addressing this situation in a livestream at a later date.

We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you of some changes to the roadmap. This information was supposed to be relayed to players via a livestream but due to some changes in the current situation we will be sharing it here instead.

Haikyuu!! Feature Festival #2

At the time of the roadmap’s release, this event was scheduled to start in mid-February, but we have decided to change the release date to mid-April.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo Feature Festival #2

There have been some changes to content that was originally planned for this event. We have also decided to delay the release date slightly to mid-January.

As a result of this delay, the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean Feature Festival will be delayed to early-February and the Mizuki Kawashita Sensei Feature will be delayed to mid-February.

We have received many other player inquiries, in addition to working further on the points discussed today, the management team and development team will be reviewing and discussing all the other inquiries and we will share more with you in the future as we work through them.

We are very sorry that we have not yet been able to make all the changes the players have been asking for a long time.

On 17 & 18th of December this year, the annual Jump Exhibition: Jump Festa was held! At Jump Festa 2023, for the first time ever, Jumputi Heroes had a booth at the exhibition.

The booth was covered in well known Jump characters from Jumputi Heroes.

Fans who went to the exhibition were also able to play Jumputi on super-sized smartphones. By the time the afternoon rolled around, a long lined had formed and it was so popular that they eventually had to cut the line off.

A special Jumputi Shopping Bag was given to those who visited the booth. It was a Limited line so it was given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

There was also a special gacha people could try after visiting the booth. Special rewards with Jumputi branding could be won from the gacha such as an AirPods Pro case, a mini purse, a smartphone cleaner, stickers, and badges.

A special Photo Spot was created in the image of the My Ship update that was added to Jumputi this year.

The Photo Spot was overflowing with visitors who were seeking commemorative photos as was the “Spot the Mistake” corner which featured a wall full of Jumputi characters.

During this visit, GameBiz were able to conduct an interview with Mr. Sho Fujikawa, the Producer of Jumputi Heroes, and Miss Yurina Hamasaki, the Assistant Producer of Jumputi Heroes.

Q: It’s the first time Jumputi Heroes has appeared at Jump Festa, what’s your impression of the event?

Hamasaki: It’s our first offline event of this size and scale, Makuhari Messe is such a large venue and it’s packed full of Jump fans, you can really feel the excitement and enthusiasm of everyone here. There are so many Jump related booths here, it’s not just games but everything you can imagine really and some of the booths are quite elaborate in design. This weekend I’m learning a lot about being a booth host.

Fujikawa: It goes without saying but Jump fans are out in full force this weekend, you can feel the enthusiasm in every corner of the venue.

Hamasaki: There are so many popular booths here so, to be honest, I was expecting there to be times where the Jumputi booth felt a bit lonely. But I was surprised, there have been loads of people coming to visit us. We ended up with lots of people lining up to check it out. I’ve been very happy to see so many fans having fun and taking pictures.

Q: What kind of people have you had visiting the booth?

Fujikawa: Before the event, we were mostly expecting hardcore Jumputi fans to come and visit us but we’ve actually had lots of people coming to visit who have never played the game before.

People were drawn over because they love Jump, so even though it’s their first time playing Jumputi, we’ve had a lot of positive interactions with these first-timers. Probably partially due to the Large monitors we set the game up on, it’s easier for people to jump in and play this way.

Q: As a festival of popular Jump characters gathering together all in one place, Jump Festa and Jumputi feel like they go hand in hand don’t they?

Fujikawa: Absolutely. At the entrance to the venue, there is a collection of illustrations from so many different Jump series and we’ve set up an all-star lineup of our own on the spot-the-mistakes exhibit. A character showcase like this has a lot of appeal, I think that’s a strength which is unique to Jumputi Heroes.

Hamasaki: At Jump Festa, I think it’s common for the focus to be on currently running series and series that we will see more from in the future. I’ve had a lot of people come up to me and say “I couldn’t find this character or series anywhere else but I found them at the Jumputi booth!”. I think we’ve made something that long-time Jump fans can enjoy.

Q: What were some of the key points you focused on regarding the content of this year’s exhibition?

Hamasaki: We planned the booth with the aim of giving visitors the same experience as in the game.

In the game, you first play the game to obtain rubies, gacha tickets and other items. Then you start collecting characters by playing events and rolling the gacha. Finally, your progress throughout your gameplay will be converted to My Ship points which will allow you to level up and upgrade your ship over time. At the booth, visitors will be able to play the game first, then try the gacha, and finally take a commemorative photo on the Ship.

Also, in Jumputi, users often record screenshots of the growth of their own ships and their favourite characters on board and publish them on social media, so we wanted visitors to be able to come on board with their heroes!

Fujikawa: Yes, we really wanted visitors of the exhibition to experience the real Jumputi.

Hamasaki: There was also a lot of discussion about the design of the booth, initially opinions were divided on whether to unify everything with the signature color of Jump, which is Red, or to use Red, Yellow, Green & Blue as they are the colors of the 4 types used in Jumputi.

In the end we decided to use red as the base for large portions of the booth and to use all 4 colors on the main signboard to make it feel like something you would see in an issue of Jump.

Initially, we also had more pictures from the manga on the exterior walls of the booth but, as there are many booths with similar designs already, we decided it would be better to feature character art from the game itself with the distinctive designs and flashy special animations that are unique to Jumputi.

Some of the visitors are fans of Jump but are unfamiliar with Jumputi so we wanted the booth design to be Jump-like whilst still showcasing the best parts of Jumputi.

Q: Jumputi is known for having a large number of characters and series from Jump, is there any chance you could tells us about the development of characters and series to be added in the future?

Fujikawa: Well, we recently announced that “Me & Roboco” by Shuhei Miyazaki will be added next month. Mr. Miyazaki is a very enthusiastic fan of Jumputi and he said “You absolutely have to add Roboco!”. We decided to add the series but it’s the first time we’ve added such a recent series to Jumputi.

Fujikawa: We’ve already let the players know to expect Roboco next month, but in addition to Me & Roboco, we have decided to add another series to the game which is currently being run in Weekly Shonen Jump.

Q: So this other series hasn’t been announced yet?

Fujikawa: As you might expect, I can’t tell you about that just yet…(wry smile). What I can tell you however, is that we plan for this series to debut in it’s own Feature Festival. Please look forward to it.

Q: Finally, is there anything else you would like to say to the fans of Jumputi?

Hamasaki: For myself, this is the first offline event I’ve experienced since joining the Jumputi team and I was nervous about how it would go, but it was refreshing to hear firsthand how people are actually playing the game. We also see people taking photos of the characters on the booth displays and the novelties they got from the gacha. If you look on social networking sites, you’ll see the photos and posts saying things like “I found this character!” or “I beat the spot-the-mistake game!”. I’m glad that we did it because people are enjoying it more than I expected.

As someone whose role at the company focuses on the player’s entertainment, I wanted people to feel the ‘fun’ and ‘excitement’ of Jumputi and I feel that we were able to provide that this time.

We are currently working on various things for the 5th anniversary of Jumputi and we will continue to do our best so that users can still enjoy the game even after the 5th anniversary, so please continue to support us in the future.

Fujikawa: What Jumputi has always valued since it’s release, has been close communication with our players. We are aware that this area is lacking a lot at the moment. It is difficult to conduct official live streams frequently in the current climate, which is one way we would communicate with users in the past. We have been looking for more opportunities to communicate with the fans recently. In fact, we have wanted to hold offline events for several years now but despite discussions on the matter being quite far along, we had to abandon the idea due to the current situation.

It’s frustrating that we can’t communicate as closely as we used to, but Shueisha offered us the opportunity to take part in Jump Festa and, even if just a little, we thought it would be a chance for us to provide a place for users to communicate with us, so we decided to hold our first exhibition here.

Although I wasn’t personally able to have a face to face with everyone myself, I was able to see with my own eyes how everyone was doing and hear their passionate voices via the staff in charge.

Despite the current circumstances, we would like to get even closer to our users for the 5th anniversary, so please continue to support Jumputi Heroes.

Below you can see the devs have answered some of the questions they expect players will have regarding this update:

Q. Why did you increase the Maximum Skill Level Cap to 15?

A. We have made this upgrade so that strength of Limited, Musou and Densetsu Grade characters will stand out more and so that the characters you have trained so far in your journey will be useable for longer.

In addition, during the 5th anniversary, a new strengthening system called the Hidden Potential System will be released. This system will make it possible to strengthen old characters and Hero characters, so we have made this change in consideration of this future system.

Q. Will there be any Hero Grade characters whose Maximum Skill Level Cap will be increased to 15?

A. No, there are no plans to add this update to Hero Grade or Event Grade units at this time. The introduction of the Hidden Potential System is the update intended to strengthen Hero Grade units. With this in mind, we want to prioritize powering up Limited Grade units who have already been released but have been left behind in terms of abilities.

This update will be introduced to more Limited Grade, Musou and Densetsu Grade units as time goes on.

Q. What do I have to do to reach the new Maximum Skill Level Cap on my characters?

A. Jewels or duplicates of the character must be fed to increase the Maximum Skill Level Cap. Only do this with characters that have had their Maximum Skill Level Cap increased as doing so with other characters will be a waste of resources.

Q. I don’t have enough jewels and now I’m running out…

A. We are aware of the amount of Jewels in circulation and we are working on a system to exchange Hero Jewels for regular Jewels as well as increasing the number of places where you can obtain Jewel Fragments while playing Jumputi Heroes.

Q. What happens if I have already fed duplicates of the same character in the past (after reaching Level 12)?

A. We are very sorry but unfortunately duplicates that were fed past Level 12 prior to this update will not be factored in. You will need to feed new duplicates or Jewels to reach level 15.

The most recent update pushed out by the developers has caused major problems for many players. You will only be affected by this if you game is connect to a LINE account.

The main issues that we have observed since the update at 12:00 JST on 11/30/22 are:

• An unexpected prompt has appeared on the title screen
• The player’s account has become unlinked from the device
• The player can no longer log in due to a “Connection Error”
• The player’s Rubies are gone

The developers have done an unsatisfactory job of fixing this and many players are still having issues. I will do my best to guide you on what to in the case of each of the issues above.

The first step for all of the stages below if possible is to make a note of your account ID. This can be found in the top right hand corner of the title screen as shown in the screenshot above.

If your account has disappeared and you are now on a fresh account, the ID shown on the title screen will be for the new account. You should still note this down somewhere for the recovery procedure but if you have any screenshots of your old ID that will be helpful in the recovery procedure.

1.1# An unexpected prompt has appeared on the title screen

If you see the prompt shown below make sure to click the large red button in the middle.

After clicking the red button you will see the prompt shown below.

Click the check box that the arrow is pointing in the screenshot above and then click the green button.

After this you should see a LINE screen with a single Green button. Click the button and you should be okay to proceed to playing the game.

1.2# What to do if you accidently clicked the small Green button in the first screenshot

You will be asked to confirm. You must click the green button on the left shown in the screenshot below to reject.

After doing so, follow the steps shown in section 1.1.

If you advanced beyond that point and the game has taken you to a fresh account. You should be able to close the game and reopen it, then follow the steps in section #2.

2# The player’s account has become unlinked from the device

As long as your LINE account still has your Jumputi account saved on it you will be able to re-link it to your device.

Click the button at the top and center of the title screen as shown in the screenshot above.

Click the OK button.

Click the green button left of center.

After this you should see a LINE screen with a single Green button. Click the button and you should be okay to proceed to playing the game.

If after finishing these steps you are still not on your original account, go to section #5.

3# The player can no longer log in due to a “Connection Error”

You may see an error that looks like this which prevents you from logging in.

If you are experiencing this issue you may need to re-install Jumputi Heroes and attempt to re-link your LINE and Jumputi Accounts. Please follow the steps in section #2 to attempt the re-linking procedure.

4# The player’s Rubies are gone

The reason the Rubies have disappeared from your account is due to a glitch in the account download and linking procedure.

The first thing to try is to attempt to re-link your LINE and Jumputi Accounts. Please follow the steps in section #2 to attempt the re-linking procedure.

If that button is not there or you complete the procedure but the rubies are still missing then continue with this section.
