Thank you for playing Jumputi Heroes. Today we will share some responses to player inquiries and give you some more information on updates that are currently being worked on.

“We don’t have enough coins for Limit Break”

We have received many responses from fans regarding this, especially during the Kimetsu no Yaiba Feature Festival in which we held missions that required you to Limit Break characters.

Even though players have enough doors, players are lacking the coins required to reach +99. We will continue to monitor our coin distribution and we will add bonuses as and when needed.

“We want more adventures”

Players have asked for more Transcendent ~ Catastrophe Class stages to be added to the game. Many of you have noticed that recent Celebrations and Feature Festivals have had a lower number of adventures than usual. However, there is a reason for this change. We have been prioritizing the addition of new adventures that a larger portion of the player base will be able to enjoy such as Unity Battle and Limited Battles.

The management team keeps a close eye on which stages players tend to be playing during each event and we have found that if an event has a large number of events, it has an effect on the number of players who take part, especially in events with high difficulty adventures such as Catastrophe class stages which often have extremely low participation numbers.

We also found that the character chosen to feature in high-difficulty adventures can affect the number of players who take part as well and that number can fluctuate quite a lot.

We are making improvements so that more people can enjoy the game by taking into account not only the number of players but also, for each player, the number of characters they own and their rank range when creating stages for them to play.

However, one thing that fans have been vocal about is that they want us to bring back Costumes as a reward for clearing high-difficulty adventures. Amongst the fans, those types of stages are considered one of the best parts of Jumputi. Even if you are unable to clear it at the time, these adventures can be added to the Voyage Log for you to try again later once your team is stronger. As it has been so highly requested, we will consider adding such events again in future Feature Festivals.

Regarding the difficulty of Limited Battles

We have received many different responses regarding the difficulty of the newest game mode: Limited Battle. Some feel it’s too easy, some say too hard and some are quite content with its difficulty level.

Let me explain our intentions with this game mode. When we first launched this game mode, we reduced its difficulty from the initial intended difficulty as we wanted people to get a feel for it. As a result, more people than expected ended up playing the mode.

Then, for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Feature Festival, we adjusted the difficulty level of each stage to gradually increase as you played through the story of the series. As a result, many people were able to clear the first stage as they did with the last set of Limited Battles, but from the next stage onwards, as the difficulty level increased, the completion rate and participation rate started to decrease.

The management team would like to position Limited Battles as adventures with a high level of difficulty, but we would also like to vary them depending on the event they appear in.

Regarding problems hosting co-op lobbies

The management team are aware of the issues with hosting co-op lobbies. These issues are proving to be particularly prevalent in collection events.

We are considering ways to increase the benefits for both hosts and participants. We are also looking into ways to improve the system, for example; not sending all participants back to the home screen after each run and instead finding a way to make getting right back into the next co-op battle more easy and efficient.

“I want to Tower Battle against friends!”

We have received many requests for this feature over the years, and our development team has repeatedly discussed the possibility of implementing it. We would love it if players could casually play against their friends in Tower or even hold tournaments with each other.

However, with the way the current Tower system is set up, implementing such a feature is simply unfeasible and it has been difficult to implement something that will satisfy everyone. We will try to come up with some alternative solutions, but please be patient.

Sakamoto Days

We first teased this on the special 55th anniversary event website but you may have missed it.

In a recent interview, we confirmed that we wanted to bring something from the current era of Weekly Shonen Jump to Jumputi Heroes. Roboco was added earlier this year as a part of that initiative and now after discussions with our colleagues at Weekly Shonen Jump, the decision was made to add the Legendary Hitman – Taro Sakamoto!

There will be other content planned for this event beyond what we’ve shown here but we can’t show you everything today.

The Feature Festival will focus on the Amusement Park Arc and the Airsoft Tournament Arc among others.

Despite her popularity and the fact that she is a main character in the series, Lu Xiaotan will not be added during this event because she doesn’t have any major fights in the arcs being covered, however, we plan to add her to Jumputi Heroes when the time is right.

What are Seasonal Characters?

Seasonal characters are units that only appear on selected banners and won’t be included in future pool updates or most tickets.

For example, [Ultimate Doujutsu] Itachi Uchiha, who was added during the last event, is a Seasonal Limited Grade unit.

This means that he may appear on other special seasonal gacha at the developer’s discretion, however, he’ll never be added to the Super Star Limited Choice Fragment gacha or any regular gacha banners that feature multiple limiteds.

In this post, Seasonal Characters will be highlighted in Purple. On the character database, you will be able to tell them apart from normal units as they will have a Blue Halo around their character icon.

Eggs, Gemstones, and Stones

The first time you log in during this celebration, you will receive the two items shown below from the login bonus.

These items can be traded in at the event exchange, here’s how you get there:

In addition to the Silver Star Egg and Silver Star Gemstone, there are also Gold and Rainbow Versions.

While you get your first Silver ones for free, everything else will need to be obtained from the exchange.

Using the key items, you will be able to make the following trades at the event exchange:

There are additional rewards available, but for now, these are the important ones so this is what we will focus on, once you understand how this exchange works you can focus on the other rewards.

As you can see, to obtain all the rewards, you will need to get some Egg Stones.

You can obtain 21 Egg Stones from missions:

• Clear 10 Stages on Event Island – 1x Egg Stone
• Clear 50 Stages on Event Island – 1x Egg Stone
• Clear 100 Stages on Event Island – 1x Egg Stone
• Clear 150 Stages on Event Island – 2x Egg Stones
• Clear 200 Stages on Event Island – 3x Egg Stones
• Clear 300 Stages on Event Island – 3x Egg Stones
• Clear 500 Stages on Event Island – 5x Egg Stones
• Clear 550 Stages on Event Island – 5x Egg Stones

With 21 Egg Stones, you can get 1 premium reward (highlighted in red) from the exchange.

The upgrade path for your first premium reward is:

• Trade the Silver Star Egg & Silver Star Gemstone for a Gold Star Egg
• Trade 3x Egg Stones for a Gold Star Gemstone
• Trade the Gold Star Egg & Gold Star Gemstone for a Rainbow Star Egg
• Trade 5x Egg Stones for a Rainbow Star Gemstone
• Trade the Rainbow Star Egg & Rainbow Star Gemstone for a Premium Reward

In total, this will cost you the Silver Star Egg & Silver Star Gemstone and 8x Egg Stones.

Leftover from the missions, you will have 13 Egg Stones. To get the rest of the rewards in the exchange you will need:

You can also purchase Hero Grade & Event Grade Limit Break Doors as well as Coins but we won’t include those in our calculations as they have no purchase limit.

To get all the main rewards you need 32 Egg Stones, but you only have 13 left and there are no more missions. So how do you get the rest?

The answer is, you need to play 4 Player Co-op on the Go! Go! Time Traveller!! stage:

You can learn more about this stage from the main news post but you just need to know it exists for now.

Never played Co-op before? There are 2 ways to play, Host or Join.

Host a Lobby

To host a Co-op lobby, follow the steps shown below:

You can host a closed room (only people with a code can join), a restricted room (only players with characters that fit certain requirements can join), or an open room. To access room settings, click on the button in the top right-hand corner.

Here is a translation of the room settings screen:

Character restrictions only apply to the slot 1 front-line character in the player’s party.

As you can see, the options I selected mean that only players with a character who is Red and Max Luck can join. Max Luck gives some additional drops and the event has a Green boss on this stage so Red characters will have type advantage.

You turn restrictions on and off using the switch in the top right-hand corner.

Start up the lobby and once all 4 players have joined you’re ready to go!

And that’s how to host a lobby!

Join a Lobby

To join a Co-op lobby, follow the steps shown below:

From the home screen, click this button to join a lobby:

You can either choose to join a friend’s lobby using a friend code or choose a lobby from a list of currently open ones.

To join a friend, follow the steps below:

To choose a lobby from a list of currently open ones, just make sure the settings slider is set to off before searching:

When choosing a lobby, make sure they are playing the stage that you want, as you can see in the image below, I don’t choose the top stage because they are playing the wrong stage, the second one says Go! Go! Time Traveller!! which is what we are looking for:

You don’t have to press anything once you are in the lobby just wait for the lobby to fill up and the lobby leader will start the battle.

And that’s how to join a lobby!

IMPORTANT 4 Player Bonus

This part is important, the Lobby needs to have 4 Players because this game has what’s called a 4 Player Bonus.

What that means is, on each run of the stages of this event, you normally get 4 drops per 20 Stamina, however, if you are in a 4 Player Co-op Lobby you will get a 5th drop!

And from that 5th drop, there is a very rare chance for you to get an Egg Stone!

The Egg Stone can ONLY drop from the 4 Player Bonus drop, which is why it’s so important for this campaign.

If you join a 4 Player Co-op lobby on this stage, it will cost you 0 Stamina and you will get 1 bonus drop per run.

If you host a 4 Player Co-op lobby on this stage, you will get 1 bonus drop per 20 Stamina spent on the stage, so if you use stamina boost to host a x3 run, it will cost you 60 Stamina for 1 run and you will get 3 bonus drops!

Please be patient when hosting and joining lobbies, you need a 4 Player Lobby and sometimes they take a while to fill up because there are so many lobbies being hosted, if you host/join and there are only 2 or 3 of you, please wait, you will get to 4 players soon and you can start.

In the end, if you only care about the second premium reward, you only need 2 Egg Drops from Co-op. But if you want to get everything, you’ll need to Co-op the stages of this event throughout the celebration.

Thank you for playing Jumputi Heroes. Today we will share some responses to player inquiries and give you some more information on updates that are currently being worked on.

Regarding game crashes

As we discussed in the past, this issue is something we are focusing on, but it will still require a bit more time to fix. The increase in the amount of data being handled by the game is causing load issues for the game and it crashes as a result. We are working hard to fix this issue and it remains a top priority for us. We appreciate your patience and we will let you know more in a future post.

Regarding the Max Level Cap of My Ship

We plan to increase the cap to Lvl. 90 sometime around September. Also, regarding the My Ship Pass which has yet to be implemented, this feature is considered a lower priority than the aforementioned game crashing issue. We want to fix the game so that players will be able to play the game without any problems above all else. Once that issue is resolved we will consider the implementation of the My Ship Pass. We are sorry that it’s taking so long, we will let you know more in a future post.

Regarding Limit Break Doors

We have received many requests to increase the availability of Limit Break Doors, especially for the higher rarity ones such as the Limited Grade and Densetsu/Musou Grade doors. In the future, we will be making them more readily available from various places such as the Soldier’s Soul Exchange, Vs. Battle Exchange and Event Droplet Exchange. We will also be adjusting the number of doors that can be obtained overall in each event eg. in collection adventures etc.

Regarding characters that have been sold by mistake

A complaint we get now and again from players is regarding special event exclusive characters, if a player accidentally sells a copy then it can lock them off from completing certain missions, getting the unit to 99 Luck, or completing Friendship Combos. Some characters are difficult to reprint due to the nature of the deal agreed upon with the related parties, but we would like to take this problem into consideration in the future.

For [The Face Hidden behind the Boar Head] Inosuke Hashibira in particular, we have received a lot of complaints about players being unable to finish this character due to this issue. We are planning to make sure that this character will be obtainable from the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Voyage Log” from mid to late July and onwards.

Regarding the Unity Battle Characters exchange rate

We have received a lot of feedback regarding the update to the Soldier’s Soul Exchange and the Unity Battles held during the “My Hero Academia: All Out War Feature Festival”.

Unity Battle characters were quite difficult to get to Max Skill in the past and in this update they became much easier to obtain, to get to Max Skill and even to get to Max Luck.

Since the 5th anniversary of the game, the management team has been making adjustments to the game, such as increasing the amount of items distributed and easing various other restrictions, with the hope that a wider range of people will be able to enjoy the game.

These changes to Unity Battle were a part of that initiative, we wanted to motivate new players by easing the difficulty of obtaining Soldier’s Souls and Unity Battle characters. Our hope was that this change would allow them to enjoy the game even more.

In addition, many long-time Jumputi players had no use for Soldier’s Souls anymore because they had already gotten all the units to Max Skill and there wasn’t much else to spend them on. This update helped to address that issue too because now they would have a use for all the Soldier’s Souls they had a stockpile of.

But we do understand that there are some players who didn’t enjoy this change. The most common complaint we received was “I put a lot of effort in for this but it seems like I wasted my time because it’s so easy now”.

These changes were made to allow a wider range of players to enjoy Jumputi Heroes, it was not our intention to alienate any members of our hardcore player base.

In light of this feedback, we will try to avoid making such extreme adjustments in the future, and we hope you will forgive us for making this change all of a sudden.

Regarding the collection adventures during Jumputi New World Grand Tour 2023

The Special Max Luck Missions during this celebration were meant to be a nice challenge for new players to obtain Rubies. We were hoping that making these missions a little challenging would help balance the rewards against the effort that players would need to put in.

We received a lot of feedback from players that felt it was too difficult to get these characters to Max Luck, especially as many of these units had not been available for a long time. Newer players couldn’t obtain these units until now and they only had a short period of time to complete the missions.

We will try to consider this in the future and we will adjust the difficulty where possible by adding characters to the Voyage Log.

Regarding “Cheaters”

Players have been asking us to take action against cheaters. We will be taking measures such as banning accounts to deal with users who engage in acts of cheating such as falsifying app data or using unauthorized tools and programs to gain an unfair advantage.

It is necessary to proceed with caution so as not to erroneously suspend players who have done nothing wrong. Therefore, it will take time for us to deal with this issue, but we would appreciate your understanding.

In addition, we plan to better prepare the dev team and strengthen our systems to crack down on cheating and respond more strictly than ever.

Regarding adjustments to the Road Map

As you may have noticed, there was a sudden schedule change for the latest event: “Demon Slayer Feature Festival: Demon Slaying Corps Memorandum“. We are very sorry for not being able to inform everyone about this change ahead of time.

In addition to this, there have been some changes to the schedule for this year so we would like to show you an updated version of the Roadmap.

Regarding the changes in July

Shueisha has decided upon the 55th Anniversary issue of Weekly Shonen Jump and so we have changed the event timing to better line up with that issue. The 55th Anniversary event will now be held from July 18th.

After discussing it with all those involved, we decided it would be preferable to bring forward the Demon Slayer event to June 30th to accommodate this change.

It was a very last-minute decision but we should have informed everyone as soon as we knew we would be making this change, we apologize for our failure to keep you in the loop.

Regarding the changes in August

We are very happy to let you know that Jumputi Heroes has reached 23 Million Downloads worldwide! We have decided to carry out a special celebratory campaign alongside the Summer Heroines event which is scheduled for early August. Additionally, as the Tower 4.5 Anniversary will be during mid-august we have also planned a celebratory campaign for that too.

Regarding the changes in September

The “New Series Feature Festival” will now be held in early September instead of late September. We are also planning separate events and campaigns for the 2000 Days Celebration. More information on this will be shared closer to the time.

What is Super Genkai Battle?
